20/07/2026: Our experience was frankly disappointing. There were five of us, and from the very first moment, the service was terrible: scant, listless, and with a constant feeling that serving customers was a chore.
To top it all off, a good portion of the menu items weren't available. You couldn't tell if you were reading a menu or a catalog of things that couldn't be ordered that day.
The only fault we accept is that we sat down at the first restaurant we found. Lesson learned. The rest is the responsibility of an establishment that should pay much more attention to customer service and offer what it advertises on its menu.
We certainly won't be returning, and we can't recommend a place where both the service and the food are sorely lacking.

06/02/2026: A cold and icy welcome. When you say hello to the waiter, you simply expect a response—basic manners and politeness.
I'm still waiting.
23/01/2026: The bar was supposed to close at 1 a.m., but it was impossible to order a drink at 9:45 p.m. because "service is over."
As a result, I joined a table of friends... without anything to drink.

Tables, glasses, and toilets were filthy. A measly 5 euros for a very poor-quality glass of red wine. A sausage platter without bread.
And the waiter, while clearing the table, finished the customers' drinks!

Appalling hygiene. I saw a cockroach on the bar, my friend's drink was filthy, and the toilets, oh my god, a commando mission (unless you're used to gulag-style latrines).

23/06/2026: Horrible staff. I once ordered a meal from them through Uber Eats, and half of it had absolutely nothing to do with what I ordered, but I didn't mention it and even gave a good rating, thinking about the heatwave and their efforts. Tonight, I ordered another meal a little before the end of the available order period, but the assigned delivery drivers turned back every time they came. And once, after contacting the restaurant owner, he brushed me off with utter disrespect! I understand the fatigue and that anyone working in the restaurant industry is on edge because of the customers, but WHY be so mean and dismissive when I'm being polite and kind? I quote, "You deal with it, I have a life." In short, don't waste your time or money; other restaurants know how to treat customers properly, which is to say, WITH RESPECT.

25/09/2024: Very dirty restaurant, the terminals never work, very long service time and what about the drive? There is always something wrong. We can't even trust anymore because once we arrive home, we find ourselves with a burger without steak (yes just bread and salad), ice cream that has gone bad, cold and limp fries, coke without bubbles and without ice cubes! In short, it's a shame this McDonald's, really, we won't go anymore!!!

22/09/2024: A dear friend of mine had highly recommended Le Bar à Vin. We attempted to go there twice. The first time, we thought they were closed because the corner looked like an entrance, and it was closed. I'd say that I'm not too with it, but the second time we went, the same thing happened to someone else. They really should have a sign pointing to the entrance, which is pretty nondescript. So, we finally make it in and there are two people ahead of us and the venue is not full. It took us over 40 minutes to get seated, by then, the line just continued to grow. There were only two ladies waiting on the entire venue. There was a lady at a counter for shipping wine orders and another man, maybe the manager, walking around from time to time. Without a doubt, they were understaffed, but honestly, if no one is buying or shipping wine and you're the manager, pitch in!! Our waitress was nice enough and shocked when we only stayed for one tasting. Clearly, it's a place where people go to linger, but it definitely, at least that day, is unable to accommodate its clientele. A bid disappointment especially since there are many other such venues to relax and enjoy in Bordeaux!
16/09/2024: We had high hopes for this cheese and wine tasting, especially after queuing for 20 minutes just to get in. The wait gave the impression we were in for something special, but unfortunately, it was quite the opposite.
The main seating area looks charming enough, but we were led to what can only be described as a drab, old-school canteen setup. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable, making it hard to settle in for what should have been a relaxing experience.
Things went from bad to worse when we ordered. We were told they had run out of every cheese except goat’s cheese—which was ridiculous, given it was only 6:30pm and, more importantly, we were in France, the home of great cheese! How can a place hosting cheese tastings run out of cheese so early in the evening?
To make matters worse, the wine menu didn’t offer any guidance on pairings. While our waitress was friendly and tried her best, it wasn’t enough to salvage the experience. The whole thing felt underwhelming and far from what we’d expected.
To top it off, they served nutty bread without checking for allergies, which seemed careless, especially in this day and age. Overall, this tasting was absolutely not worth the visit. Save your time and money for somewhere more deserving.

03/12/2024: Nice cafe, with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee is good, but the chestnut mellow could, in my opinion, be creamier, although the flavor was delicious.

The kind seller. On the other hand, the sandwich is hard to eat, lots of compacted butter. The seller uses the same for all products. What a shame!
26/08/2024: Ouch ouch ouch a Caesar salad with just one poor strip of chicken!!! A ham and emmental butter sandwich in which we look for the ham…. Given the prices charged and the margin made, we can expect better!

On aurait souhaité en avoir un peu plus dans l'assiette pour le tarif un peu élevé.
Serveur très agréable et un service rapide.
