19/03/2024: We recently had the pleasure of ordering brunch to go, and we were absolutely delighted with our experience. The dishes were varied and delicious, clearly demonstrating the use of quality fresh produce. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning. Thank you for this great experience!

25/02/2024: One day, a friend suggested that we go for a coffee and a snack at Greenstub. I didn't know about this coff'tea shop before going there on a Sunday, and what a great discovery!!! I tried the latte with oat milk and their pastries on a Sunday afternoon, then we went back for lunch to enjoy their toast, salads and drinks, really delicious. My first impression was to find a very cozy and warm place: wooden tables and chairs, sofas on the side, board games on the shelves and games for children. We were served by the owner of the place: very friendly, very good advice on how to prepare a really good coffee and above all a lot of humor and repartee (personally I love it :)) Each time, we stayed until the Greenstub closed, we were so happy there that we didn't notice the time passing :) It would be so nice if the owner left us the keys so we could leave later late :D (we promise, we clean and lock it securely before leaving ;-)) I adopt their philosophy of healthy, homemade, fresh, slow food and drink :D and I can only highly recommend this place. Since then I have also had meals at the greenstub distri in Blotzheim, really practical and good! Next step is brunch and I'm especially looking forward to being able to enjoy the terrace in summer and I hope there will also be events.

25/03/2024: Very warm welcome, restaurant room not very large, but excellent food. Succulent and well-filled lamb couscous or meatballs. Moroccan wine. For dessert, gourmet tea. Booking is recommended.

18/03/2024: One of the best Moroccan cuisine restaurants in Alsace, the cuisine is excellent, the products are fresh all the time, we have been eating in this restaurant for years and everything is really good whether it is the lamb skewer couscous or the bricks are the best lunch menus which are never the same, a real treat. the team is attentive and very welcoming. the atmosphere is very warm, it’s like being in the accounts of the Arabian Nights!

As I entered, I was immediately struck by the tasteful décor, reminiscent of an artist's atelier, with soft lighting and a touch of artistic flair that set the tone for an exquisite culinary experience. The menu, a carefully crafted selection of seasonal ingredients, showcased a journey through flavors and textures, each dish artfully presented as if it were a canvas painted by a master artist. The attention to detail and the harmonious blend of flavors made each course a delightful exploration. The first dish, Asperge blanche d'Alsace, Betterave, Passion et sapin, was a delicate presentation of white asparagus, beetroot, passion fruit, and pine, bringing a refreshing start to the meal. The combination of earthy and citrusy notes created a perfect balance. Next, the Oeuf de poulette bio aux morilles et sabayon au vin jaune was a highlight. The organic hen's egg with morel mushrooms and a creamy sabayon made with yellow wine was a symphony of rich flavors, enhanced by the earthy taste of the mushrooms and the luxurious texture of the sabayon. The Canon de lotte, Raviole de petits pois, Pamplemousse et jus iodé, a dish of monkfish, pea ravioli, and grapefruit, was a delightful blend of flavors from land and sea. The iodine-rich jus added depth, while the grapefruit provided a refreshing acidity to balance the dish. The Filet de rouget grillé, Tarte fine aux oignons caramélisés, Poivrons marinés à l'ail des ours, Jus au vinaigre de sureau, featured grilled red mullet with a thin tart of caramelized onions and marinated bell peppers. The jus with elderberry vinegar added a subtle sweetness that complemented the savory elements beautifully. For the meat course, the Filet de canette rôtie, Asperge verte à l'estragon, Tartare de fraise confite, Petit épeautre au parmesan, was a triumph. The roasted duck filet with green asparagus and strawberry tartare was an imaginative combination, with the spelt and Parmesan providing a satisfying texture. Desserts were equally impressive, starting with L'insolite hibiscus, Framboise et laurier, a creation of hibiscus, raspberry, and bay leaf, which was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The finale, Douceur de rhubarbe et mascarpone, Jus de rhubarbe rouge et sorbet riesling à la vanille, offered a delicate rhubarb and mascarpone dessert, with a Riesling sorbet that added a touch of sophistication. Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, and each course was delivered with precise timing. L'Atelier du Peintre is a testament to the artistry of fine dining, offering a culinary experience that delights both the eyes and the palate. If you're seeking a restaurant that combines creativity, finesse, and exceptional service, this is a destination not to be missed.

17/02/2024: Very good cuisine. No complaints. Long service. The waitress/boss waited for us to finish our glasses of wine to bring dessert. Why not ask ourselves if she could bring the sequel? Refusal to give a carafe of water (it's obvious that at €6 for a 50 cl bottle that's a loss of income). Does not seem visibly informed of the law of January 1, 2022 which requires restaurateurs, cafe owners, bistro owners to provide free access to drinking water. Did not accept the mention of this legislation at all and immediately felt attacked and adopted behavior unworthy of a boss with very inappropriate verbal remarks in the face of customers who had just left a nice sum of money. It is unacceptable. Review your behavior.

20/09/2023: Great cafe, the owner of the place and her colleague are great, the atmosphere is excellent and every week a theme is offered with homemade aperitifs. A bar, a tobacconist and a parcel collection depot. A beautiful terrace allows you to quench your thirst in the shade. A place that I recommend and that I can't help but go several times a week. Don't hesitate to stop there, calm, joy and good humor will be present every day from Monday to Saturday.

25/03/2024: Perfect, too bad we can't add more stars, the kayef brothers are very friendly, we feel at home, ever since we were little #caracasFAMILY. I would just tell them to maybe put a little more fries on the trays and that would be perfect.

04/02/2024: Very warm welcome and fast service. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. On the other hand, 9€50 for the kebab menu, you shouldn't overdo it though.
