19/04/2026: We've known this restaurant for ten years. We hadn't been for several years. In the past, we'd been very disappointed by the service.
This time, we were pleasantly surprised by the improved service, which had been disappointing in the past. However, the value for money isn't there for the main courses on the menu. The truffles were really not good. The fish dish we chose was very pretty, but the taste was lacking. On the other hand, we loved the petit fours and the much more original appetizers.
12/04/2026: Given the restaurant's reputation, I was expecting something truly exceptional, but my experience at L’Atelier du Peintre was rather disappointing.
The set menu choices were bold, and the dishes were decent. However, the service, particularly from the sommelier, wasn't up to the standard one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The desserts, on the other hand, were excellent.
Considering the price and the establishment's prestige, the experience fell short, even though it remains a very good restaurant.

29/03/2026: Excellent experience at Schmitt pastry shop! The products are of high quality, as beautiful as they are delicious. The pastries are delicate, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The selection is varied and makes you want to try everything. The welcome is pleasant and the service efficient. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

10/03/2026: Fantastic experience at Salon de Thé Dussourd in Colmar! The restaurant is lovely, with a warm atmosphere and a perfect location in the heart of the city. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and served quickly. The staff is very welcoming and friendly; you really feel at home. Special mention for the pastries, which are excellent!
I highly recommend this restaurant; I will definitely be back. Colmar is worth a visit, and so is this restaurant! 😋🍰
27/02/2026: We were there again for lunch today: the "plat du jour" of pollock with risotto and chorizo sauce was delicious, and the omelet with spaetzle and salad was also excellent... the service (Tristan) was very friendly, and the complimentary "Arabica" dessert tart and cappuccino were a perfect ending. Top location and highly recommended, thank you very much and see you soon...

03/01/2026: A quick stop at this small restaurant, which was quite busy on the streets. The food was very good; we had a savory tarte flambée with four cheeses—a real treat—and a truly excellent sauerkraut, followed by a sweet tarte flambée for dessert. There was a slight hiccup with the service, but the waitress quickly rectified it and took responsibility for her mistake. So, professional. Pleasant these days. There was a bit of a wait for dessert, but I recommend it because there's a good selection on the menu and the quality of the ingredients.

The food is good and local.
The breakfast is excellent.
The service is impeccable.
We highly recommend it.

18/03/2026: A completely overpriced tourist trap! A small glass of white wine for five euros and whiskies. Way too expensive. Just like the beer. The only one who can be happy here is the owner, who's making a fortune.

I've been coming here for years, and this time the American-style stuffed burger with cream sauce had very, very little Emmental cheese, the cream sauce was way too peppery, and the steaks were excessively overcooked, practically burnt. Buying a well-known fast-food chain is all well and good, but doing it just as well is much harder...

10/03/2026: The chicken sandwich was delicious; we ordered the 30cm size. The sauce and chicken inside were good. It was served quickly, heated up beforehand. It's a clean and tidy place.
17/02/2026: I went to eat at the Subway in Colmar and had a great time. The welcome was really friendly; you immediately feel at home.
The service was warm and the staff was very kind and professional.
I highly recommend this restaurant and thank the whole team for their warm welcome and kindness!

18/02/2026: Clean and well received, but McDonald's charges extra on regular Coke, extra charge on sauce, an extra charge even if minimal, but not appealing, on average 15 for a meal that is not worth more than half the price, outrageous price.
17/02/2026: Great experience, no mistakes in the order, a friendly and polite team.

31/08/2024: You're not allowed to share an ice cream on his terrace, you all need to order 😂. Super arrogant and unfriendly, just walk 5 more seconds to any other shop in the same street
09/08/2024: Contrary to reviews I read: very friendly waitress, excellent food, delicious ice cream and I was allowed to use the toilet. Sit in the shade and gain energy for a walk through the city.
