28/07/2026: A very warm welcome, attentive staff, a cozy atmosphere in the small dining room, and impeccable food and service. You can go there without hesitation.

18/06/2026: Very good kebab, close to the train station (about 8 minutes). Generous portion, fast service.

15/06/2026: If you happen to be in the area, you absolutely must stop by and try their döner kebab. It's both affordable and very filling, and it's open until late. The family running the place is very friendly and welcoming. They patiently prepared separate orders for seven people.

17/05/2026: The meat in their kebab is way too salty! It used to be better.

29/04/2026: We waited an hour for a kebab and a yufka meal, with an extra red cabbage that I didn't get but still paid for. The meat was cold, and the servers didn't even come to tell us it would take a while. The waitress was unpleasant and undiplomatic in her approach to customers. I've been going there for over 10 years. The previous management was much better. This is the last time I'll be going.

18/07/2026: Upon arrival, the terrace was full, so we were warned and ate inside. I was worried about the wait at first, but not at all! These charming waitresses were absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. I ordered a hanger steak with fries, salad, and a sublime sauce—I ate everything! My wife had a pizza, which was delicious. The Côtes du Rhône wine was excellent; we drank it all. Thank you for this lovely and convivial experience.

16/07/2026: Under new ownership a month ago, We went there after seeing the menu online, and what a surprise when we arrived to find half the menu gone! Only pizzas and tarte flambée were available; no more starters, main courses, or salads. The pizzas are good, admittedly, but that's not what we came for. Don't order dessert; €8 for a tiramisu that's the size of a certain... For that price, in any other restaurant, you'd get at least double that. We pointed this out to the new manager, who even admitted he'd already noticed! It's absurd... One thing's for sure: I won't be back, since after only a month of being open, they're taking us for fools!

31/07/2026: Had a lovely evening here while on vacation in Alsace The service was amazing, the food was incredible and the wine was amazing. So many different surprising flavors! What I liked the most was the dish with everything from the garden. It all tasted so fresh. The pre-dessert with dill and sheep milk was also quite a surprise but such amazing flavor combinations I can definetly recommend this restaurant to anyone that lives or stays near Riquewihr!

18/06/2026: Speak-friendly yet feels like settling down in an old friend’s home. The warm red walls around us reminded us of the colourful Riquewihr houses that we have witnessed outside yet it has its unique character that differentiates itself from the others. Very friendly team and staff were very patient to explain the wines and food in detail like an exciting moment is about to begin. Lunch here is like savouring every piece of fine art with our eyes, noses and caressing our sense of taste. The portions were very generous for the lunch set and we left with happy memories and happy stomach. It’s very difficult for us to decide which is the best dish but we love them very much. Thank you La Table du Gourmet - Restaurant Riquewihr for the lovely afternoon and congratulations to your Michelin star win. We hope to visit your restaurant next time.

01/08/2026: Very traditional restaurant. Beautiful dining room, courteous and knowledgeable service. Wide choice of dishes, with many Alsatian classics. The sauerkraut prepared at the table is fantastic. The wine list is very extensive and very reasonably priced. Also includes many older vintages from Alsace, among others, at competitive prices. In short, highly recommended if you are staying in Alsace.

29/07/2026: Decent but that's it. My steak was beyond medium rare, the tournedos of my partner was better. Only fries (frozen from the local supermarket) and some lettuce with my steak. 4 stars because the tournedos saved them.

14/08/2026: We had lunch at noon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The meal was delicious! I had the salmon with bao buns (steamed buns) as a starter, followed by the prawns with risotto as a main course: a real treat! 😋 A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend this place!

05/08/2026: Up until today, it was actually a 4.5-star establishment. We had been there three times before as tourists and were satisfied. The prices were reasonable, and there were many locals who were very friendly. Today, around 9:10 p.m., we wanted to sit on the terrace for a few drinks. The waiter shouted to my wife in English that it was already closed, even though the terrace was full. Unfortunately, I speak French and could understand the condescending remarks he made to the other guests. It's a shame that staff can cause such problems for a business.

27/07/2026: What a disappointment on our second visit! Despite our reservation, we were automatically seated on the terrace, even though our main reason for coming was the restaurant's charming interior... not some random terrace in the blazing heat (- one star). Then they informed us that on that day (Sunday) it was only the "grand" buffet at €45 per person (yeah, right)... uh, perhaps they should warn customers when they book, because if it was just to eat a buffet with a plate of food at that price, I would have gone straight to Flunch (- one star). Finally, and perhaps worst of all, was the overcrowding... money, money, money at the expense of the other customers' peace and quiet! Tables everywhere, in every corner of the dining room and terrace (if they could have put some out onto the road, they surely would have), a noisy and intrusive crowd, a buffet completely packed, and a long queue—an obstacle course to get food and have to navigate through the throng with your plate... pathetic (-1 star). And all this for the modest sum of around €155 for three light eaters, very, very profitable for this restaurant, but isn't that the point after all...? (-1 star) I'm leaving one star for the quality of the food. I think this will be the last time on a Sunday, the last time ever, actually. I really dislike the way things are run and the lack of information. We felt pressured and rushed. A very bad experience.

27/07/2026: Excellent experience! A large and varied buffet with something for everyone. The puppet show was a delight for both children and adults. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A truly wonderful place!

28/06/2026: Nestled in lush greenery, this is a lovely establishment with attentive service, good food, and a very varied all-you-can-eat buffet. Quality wine is also available, all in a peaceful, serious yet relaxed atmosphere. The seasonal fruit desserts are a real treat. In short, I highly recommend it.

25/06/2026: Visited the restaurant during the SMAM 2026 Mineral Show 💁🏻‍♂️✨ Room not rated It's perfect! The setting outside the city, a bit cooler in the mountains, is charming. The service is incredibly friendly and professional. Both the buffet (for the show period) and the à la carte menu are truly excellent! For vegetarians, well, last year we had a choice between baked potato with Munster cheese and eggplant ravioli. Not this year. But I found them on the buffet the next day. I was happy. The desserts are to die for! The Black Forest cake is quite soaked, let's say, but my boss loved it. The blueberry tart is simple but exceptionally good.

29/07/2026: You don't find kitchens that close at 10pm on every street corner, and this one is worth the detour! Enjoy it with a selection of quality wines and spirits, and even some nice nolo drinks.

17/08/2026: We loved the warm welcome, the ambiance, the great and nice waiter and the beautiful and very tasteful courses. However, and we dont mean it personally, the sommelier? We dont know what he actually did, like he could not be bothered. Advice? Suggestions? We asked for a wine pairing with our 5 course menu which is a huge part of the whole experience. Not possible because people are different with different taste? Yes? So what? Then you can still offer different wines with every course ? He suggested red and white. For us that was a not so great part of the evening. We have had dinners all over in restaurants with one star and this is for us the first time. I would not suggest this personaly and purely based on this complete lack of wine experience, we would have been happy to pay more.
