16/08/2026: Going to Pierre's is like being at home. Everyone is welcome! The owner has a unique knack for greeting every customer with good humor and a generous heart! It's an unpretentious place, simple and friendly! The food reflects the owner: simple and generous! And for lovers of cold beer, a pint of lager is less than €6, so don't hesitate to go!

The dishes are generous, delicious, and prepared with care, all at an excellent price.

20/08/2026: I came with my mother. An authentic setting, a warm welcome and excellent service, exceptional dishes in both presentation and flavor—congratulations to the chef! The owner and waitresses were very professional, pleasant, and attentive. I'm from La Rochelle. I will definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful experience. A must-try! Don't hesitate.

26/08/2026: I stopped by for my lunch break. Around 1 p.m., there was still a good selection. I was served very quickly and warmly welcomed by the three staff members working that day.
The price is reasonable for a complete meal (sandwich/drink/dessert).
I had the chicken curry brioche sandwich! It was delicious 🤤😍
At the same time, Patapain had more choices than Marie Blachère.
I ate there, and what a pleasant surprise to see that the furniture upstairs had been changed. It's warmer and more comfortable. The atmosphere was calm, not too noisy. And the entire restaurant was reasonably clean.
I recommend this place!

17/09/2026: Let's be frank: the owner is nice, but the young woman who serves is cold and never smiles.
The escalope with cider sauce is good, but the pâté is definitely best avoided because the eggs are completely dry and look questionable.
The price for two people:
2 starters
1 Orangina
1 sparkling water
2 appetizers
2 main courses (escalope with cider stew)
2 floating islands (not homemade)
1 coffee
All for 59 euros.
Go and see for yourself.
Personally, I would avoid going there. Sorry for this review, which may be disappointing.

27/07/2026: 45 minutes to serve 2 menus, that's great, fast food, the concept of fast no longer exists.
25/07/2026: Not great... Dirty floor and tables even though there were very few customers (maximum 8). Loud music in the kitchen. Very unpleasant staff, especially when we got our order because we hadn't understood the order number since this gentleman spoke French like a Spanish cow. He just threw the tray at us while yelling at us in his language, which we didn't understand, and then they were laughing in the back kitchen, looking at us with the cook who, if I had seen him before, would have made me run away... I'll never go back.

30/08/2026: Thieves! Items are always missing from orders, especially children's toys! They do it on purpose; no order is ever complete. And they don't care... Shameful establishment, avoid at all costs.
