They threw away the lottery ticket that I had just bought then called me a thief because I told them that they didn't give it to me and looked at the cameras telling me that I was a thief however on the cameras we we see him very clearly throwing away the ticket. This week we ordered a coffee which we drank on the terrace. The waitress called my sister a thief, screaming in front of all the customers of the bar, saying that this is not the first time that we have not paid (false) because she does not It didn't settle DIRECTLY (we were sitting on the terrace and came every week) but where are we??? I certainly don't recommend! This bar has just become uncrowded since the new owners arrived. Don’t take on business if it means insulting your customers…
16/08/2024: Excellent place! The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The service is fast and always with a smile. I highly recommend!

Dry butter ham sandwiches 2g butter,
Very golden baguettes non-existent, whereas if the sellers took the trouble to go and look near the oven, they would see them as I see them through the window.
I think I'll shop elsewhere, where the customer is considered.
08/09/2024: Until today I found these bakeries to be top notch. Unfortunately, for a short time, the sellers have very dirty clothes (shirts and aprons). I find this very limited. Surprising makeup... Cash breakdown, no credit card or loyalty card, luckily I had my checkbook. I felt like I was somewhere else...

22/09/2024: I was a regular customer since the opening of the Saint-Gervais bakery, I am no longer.
Pastries and pastries have lost in size what they have gained in price. Moreover, on the pastry side, there is also less choice, and what remains has lost quality (where have the honored saints gone with the caramel base for example)
Like many, I found that the waiting time to be served was getting worse and worse.
And the concept of baking bread yourself ended up convincing me to look elsewhere, even though I live nearby.
There remains the decor, which no longer creates an illusion except for people passing through.
I see a lot of your old customers at the bakery I go to now.
It’s time to set things right.
17/09/2024: A place having lost its authenticity, we came to have a snack, our hot chocolates at €3 each are cut with water and are not even filled. Let's not talk about chouquettes which are very hard and rancid, we even wonder if they only date from yesterday. So disappointing, we were used to much better.

29/09/2024: I ordered a platter of sweet petit fours. I was told by phone that there will be 12, in the end there are 20 (fortunately only one ordered, otherwise it would have been too much and not potentially wasted).
Then, we ordered for 10:30 a.m. (personal imperative), more than 30 minutes of waiting for the tray to not be ready! Let it be done urgently and no matter how! The box to put them in is too small and therefore nothing is stable. See photos.
In addition to the endless waiting, waiters preferring to fill the windows and you ignore and now the non-compliance with the schedule and especially with the expected service, TO FLEE.
29/09/2024: This morning I waited almost half an hour for 4 baguettes and it's still the same, poorly organized bakery

21/09/2024: Paper stuck on the McDonald's croque and the 6 burgers were brought to us cold and on top of that we had to wait for the manager's approval to reheat them! Inadmissible.

21/05/2024: Découvert grâce à leurs food truck ou nous avions mangé nos meilleurs hamburgers nous avons souhaité tester le restaurant pour y organiser notre mariage.
Nous savons aujourd'hui que c'est l'adresse parfaite pour le faire.
Un accueil chaleureux et convivial comme on en voit rarement.
Une cuisine excellente ou chaque détail est pensé. Des ingrédients frais et des plats aux bonnes proportions.
Accompagnée de très bon vins, cocktail et rhum arrangé !
Et un vrai bon repas également pour notre fille.
Amuse bouche, entrée, plat et dessert pour seulement 39€

07/04/2024: Une symphonie florale en milieu champêtre.
Au hasard d’une recherche Google pour l’anniversaire de ma compagne nous avons jeté notre dévolu sur ce restaurant.
Fin gourmets gourmand que nous sommes arrivés avec notre fils nous avons eu un accueil digne de palace parisien par une maîtresse de maison volubile mais très chaleureuse.
Le chef auréolé d’un parcours conséquent et prestigieux ( cuisinier de l’Élysée et palaces suisses ) accueille dans son auberge familiale ou les traditions se mêlent entre terroir et gastronomie.
Le temps passé en famille à la rénovation de cette auberge transpire par chaque endroit où l’on pose ses yeux et sent un amour des belles et bonnes choses.
Un parc arboré, bien entretenu ou l’on a envie de se prélasser après le déjeuner invite à la flânerie des beaux jours de printemps.
Le menu présenté décliné en trois façon avec respect des saisonnalités à un prix qui laisse pantois fait déjà frémir d’envie les papilles.
Le chef tient à cœur de ne jamais oublier ses racines réunionnaises et la haute gastronomie.
Les plats virevoltent et les saveurs s’enchaînent sans s’entrechoquer et nous accompagne vers des saveurs et des goûts insoupçonnés.
Un coup mer pour le poisson (les plages) lieu noir juste parfait.
Un coup terre (et ses habitants si accueillants ) pour la dinde si douce.
Puis c’est l’envolée vers un dessert à l’ananas si doux que l’on comprend que chaque note de la réunion se retrouve jusqu’à ce python de la fournaise qui réchauffe le cœur et projette des émotions.
Un coup de chef ? Non un coup de maître !
Une fausse note dans cette symphonie: l’absence d’amuse bouche présenté avec l’apéritif auquel nous ne tiendrons que peut de rigueur vu la quantité et qualité de travail déployé.

21/01/2024: At the time, this bakery was the best in Montoire, and offered good quality baguettes and rolls, made from quality flour (Viron flour mill in Chartres), and we had 4 baguettes for the price of 3.
None of that today, even at 1.2€ the tradition: compact and pasty white crumb, with a few holes in the center as cells, no more sharp crusts at the ends, but a right-angled cut.
In short, there must have been a change of ownership, and as often for the worse.
