20/06/2026: Homemade fries We were a party of four and paid €230. Main courses and desserts: €230 Quite expensive, but everything is homemade. Except for the chocolate fondant, which came in a cardboard box and was left in the trash. Salad and fries Meat and fish The coffee is good.

18/08/2026: On Friday morning, I went to the Marchand à Mer bakery to pick up my Paris-Brest cake, which I had ordered for 10 people. When I saw the size of the cake, I told the saleswoman it was impossible for 10 people... I could understand if it was for 6, having bought Paris-Brest cakes for 4 people before, so I could see the difference, but definitely not for 10! She told me yes, it was a little taller, and she even offered to sell me more from their display case... Yeah, right, she thinks I'm an idiot... Frankly, I'm very disappointed in the owner who was so dismissive. I won't be recommending them.

18/06/2026: Unpleasant staff! And arrogant, a man working the night shift in the kitchen yelled at me on Saturday, June 13, 2026, around midnight when I finished my movie. I simply wanted to know if I could order, and I was verbally attacked. It's unacceptable to treat customers like that!

17/06/2026: There's a tall, bearded employee there who's being rude to customers; it's really unacceptable. After all, the customers are just asking when they'll receive their order, there's no reason for him to be rude.

15/08/2026: The Auberge de Clairefontaine in Saint-Hilaire-la-Gravelle is a magnificent place! The welcome is warm, generous, and very professional, all within a bucolic and beautifully decorated setting. As for the dishes the chef prepared for us, they were simply exquisite, with flavorful notes and harmonious combinations. We also enjoyed some excellent wines (an ideal Cheverny) to accompany this delicious dinner. In short, my wife and I had an unforgettable time thanks to Chef Jean-Jacques, who worked in some of the most prestigious establishments (the Élysée Palace, Chanel) before returning to his roots. A big thank you also to our hostess Bernadette for her joie de vivre and her secret homemade cocktails made with infused rum. I highly recommend it, go for it!

07/05/2026: Passing through Romorantin, I stumbled upon Le 44. The welcome was very friendly, the food was good, the waitress was attentive, and all for a more than reasonable price. It's worth the detour.
