23/03/2026: A very pleasant place, with clean and modern decor, just like the cuisine. Each dish is a work of art, a gentle explosion of delicate flavors in the mouth. Excellent wine pairings were recommended for each course. There were 12 of us, and we were all delighted with this exceptional lunch. I highly recommend it.

27/04/2026: I was very surprised, and not in a good way, by a strawberry mojito. The glass was filled with crushed ice and still water, lots of whole mint leaves, chopped strawberries, three-quarters of a strawberry, and two small pieces of lemon. Not great. The service was perfectly fine. Another thing to mention: no disabled access to the restrooms and no hand towels. In short, as a regular at this legendary Vendôme bar, I'm a little disappointed.

Excellent welcome, top-notch service.
Daily specials were excellent.
Only slight drawback: the dining room was a bit noisy.

07/05/2026: Passing through Romorantin, I stumbled upon Le 44. The welcome was very friendly, the food was good, the waitress was attentive, and all for a more than reasonable price. It's worth the detour.
03/04/2026: The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely kind. I arrived at the very end of service, but I had plenty of time to appreciate the simple yet delicious cuisine.

08/12/2025: Okay, it's really very good, but the problem is that the sandwich bread is completely open and everything falls out during transport! I prefer my bread to be only half open so that everything stays inside! And I'm not a culinary master, just a cook who graduated from the Blois Hotel School 😉... and former owner of a gourmet restaurant in Chambord 😉
