29/05/2026: From the outside, it looks rather unassuming, but when the restaurant opened and we were seated, we were enchanted! The service was very attentive, friendly, and helpful (despite the language barrier). The food was exquisite and perfectly balanced. The portions were just right. I have rarely felt so comfortable and well taken care of!

29/03/2026: Never disappointed! My last purchase was a delicious vanilla and red berry cake for a birthday I hadn't booked: a wonderful surprise! Beautifully presented, we thoroughly enjoyed it, a very delicate cake! I highly recommend this bakery. A special mention for the helpful advice and the presentation of the different cakes. 18/06/2026: Unpleasant staff! And arrogant, a man working the night shift in the kitchen yelled at me on Saturday, June 13, 2026, around midnight when I finished my movie. I simply wanted to know if I could order, and I was verbally attacked. It's unacceptable to treat customers like that!

17/06/2026: There's a tall, bearded employee there who's being rude to customers; it's really unacceptable. After all, the customers are just asking when they'll receive their order, there's no reason for him to be rude.

07/05/2026: Passing through Romorantin, I stumbled upon Le 44. The welcome was very friendly, the food was good, the waitress was attentive, and all for a more than reasonable price. It's worth the detour.

27/05/2026: On a business trip to Vendôme, I met up with my colleagues at La Comédie and made a wonderful discovery. A brasserie just the way we like them. The welcome, the attentive staff, the smiles—it's all quite rare these days, so I thought I'd share it. When are you opening a similar one in Tours?

03/06/2026: L'Embarcadère, a charming little restaurant on the banks of the Loire. The welcome and service were excellent; the waiters were friendly and pleasant. The food was generally very good, however, not everything was perfect. For starters, we had the gravlax salmon and foie gras, which were delicious, but the croutons served with them were hard and stale. Luckily, the bread was fresh. For our main course, we chose the pollack fish and chips. The portion was generous, the fish was fresh, and the sauce was good, but the fries were just "ordinary" (I suspect they were frozen). The atmosphere was normal, a bit noisy as we were all on the shaded terrace, enjoying the heat, while the main dining room was open. It's a shame we didn't have the option of eating in the air conditioning. I will probably return later this year to try the "winter" menu.

31/05/2026: SUPERB experience, just one minor point: far too much oil in both our dishes (perhaps a chef's mistake). But I'll be back! On the other hand, vaping should be banned on terraces just like smoking! I thank my table neighbor for poisoning me last night.
