29/05/2026: From the outside, it looks rather unassuming, but when the restaurant opened and we were seated, we were enchanted! The service was very attentive, friendly, and helpful (despite the language barrier). The food was exquisite and perfectly balanced. The portions were just right. I have rarely felt so comfortable and well taken care of!

17/05/2026: It's a shame there's no service to clean the toilets, which are absolutely disgusting! And the floor is incredibly sticky! So the hygiene needs improvement. Otherwise, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great.

03/06/2026: L'Embarcadère, a charming little restaurant on the banks of the Loire.
The welcome and service were excellent; the waiters were friendly and pleasant.
The food was generally very good, however, not everything was perfect. For starters, we had the gravlax salmon and foie gras, which were delicious, but the croutons served with them were hard and stale. Luckily, the bread was fresh. For our main course, we chose the pollack fish and chips. The portion was generous, the fish was fresh, and the sauce was good, but the fries were just "ordinary" (I suspect they were frozen).
The atmosphere was normal, a bit noisy as we were all on the shaded terrace, enjoying the heat, while the main dining room was open. It's a shame we didn't have the option of eating in the air conditioning.
I will probably return later this year to try the "winter" menu.

23/04/2026: Blois, the first stop on the May road trip along the Loire. The place isn't anything special, but it's a real eye-catcher from the outside. 😘 Inside, the food is amazing - steaks, snails, and steak tartare... First-class steaks! Being in France and not trying snails? Everyone should definitely try it! Baked veal sweetbreads - yum, what a texture! Soft, velvety meat. You can tell they've perfected it. So delicious, it's a shame to skip dessert. Don't judge a book by its cover. You could easily pass by this place and just ignore it.

11/06/2025: I was thinking that it had been a long time, even a very long time, since I had been to Liber'Thés, but when I saw the tea at 4 euros, it was very expensive, especially since it was Mariage tea, which is far from being the best in terms of pesticide residues and ethics. Too bad.

11/12/2024: Aujourd’hui 11 décembre on a attendu 20 minutes à chaque borne au drive. Personne nous a parlé on s’est alors avancé au guichet. La fenêtre était fermée. Une Salarié nous a vu à travers et n’est pas venu nous voir. Nous avons dû partir sans manger honteux McDo à fuir, absolument vaut mieux aller au McDo de Vineuil. C’est
27/11/2024: Sérieux 45 minutes pour attendre son repas c'est long surtout quand on a qu'une heure de pause franchement c'est abusé il y a encore 6 voitures derrière moi pensent les pauvres et là ça fait 4 minutes que j'attends qu'on qu'on me donne mon paquet je suis au drive est très long 45 minutes c'est vraiment abusé
