25/04/2024: Good atmosphere, very good calf's head ;) A working menu for €15 (starter, main course, cheese, dessert, 1/4 drink and a coffee) and all with quality and a smile. We will come back :)

23/04/2024: The starters are very good, the meal of the day is copious and tasty (Norman-style chicken fricassee with fries and salad), the service is fast and efficient, the dessert is delicious (Paris Brest), we have the right to cheese and coffee, great discovery. The price is unbeatable for all these good things, just one word: thank you!

21/07/2024: Nice place to "rest", the walk along the Mayenne is already enjoyable, but the stop with its tavern, its sanitary point and its information office will delight you! You can even rent boats, pedal boats and other water resources for a short time (very reasonable and bearable prices for once). View of the viaduct bridge next door. A must-see place on your walking tour of the city.

15/10/2024: We recently had lunch at La Cigale creperie in Laval and our experience was unfortunately disappointing. The dishes lacked freshness and flavor, which somewhat spoiled our enjoyment. The dessert, a lemon crepe, was not up to par: it was simply a crepe drizzled with lemon juice, without any additional touches to enhance the taste. As for the cider, it did not have the character that one expects from a good Breton cider. Too bad, because the restaurant benefits from a charming setting in old Laval, but the quality of the food was not up to par.

28/11/2024: I've been a McDonald's customer for almost 40 years, the longer it goes, the worse it gets. It has really become very expensive, I took a double bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon, results I will put you in the size of a very simple one, for the price I find it shameful, the fries give the impression of having been reheated they are half soft half hot, the drinks are really not good. The restaurant is dirty. I am frankly disappointed. I don't think I'll be back any time soon.

30/08/2024: We always come back to the same opinions: Cold fries (with very little cheddar) Wraps, too stingy on quantity. Burgers, often cold and poorly prepared (even if it's "fast food", putting a slice of steak on bread isn't too complicated). Bland, bubble-free drink. Lots of forgetting about orders of varying length. Forgotten wooden cover (+1 for ecology at least). Not to mention the disastrous price and the size of the burgers which shrink from year to year. Fortunately to make up for that, the staff at the drive-thru are friendly and efficient.

08/09/2024: I have been going there for several years now but since it was taken over the price and the quantities are ridiculous, that tonight a 1 meat / 2 meat or 3 meat tacos the size and weight are perfectly identical whereas when I I booked over the phone, I asked if the size was different depending on the number of meats, however the price increases, that's no problem...

26/08/2024: A big fan of white sauce, I traveled the world (Turkey, India, Greenland, etc.) in search of the best white sauce to accompany my kebab. And this is where I found it. In this small town which doesn't look like much at first glance, and which is called Craon. I walked into this kebab shop, still searching for the perfect white sauce. I was greeted by a typical Turk from the north of Turkey with a large, silky beard, who was very friendly indeed. I ordered a complete kebab with white sauce, as usual, although telling this brave gentleman that I was very particular about white sauce. He told me, I quote: "Don't worry, pogoss, I'll make you the best sauce you've ever eaten." He then went into the kitchen to make a homemade white sauce to complement my meat and condiments. From the first bite, I immediately knew that my quest had come to an end. An explosion of flavors. The perfect balance was found between this homemade sauce and the different foods used. This sauce is like no other. You don't smell yogurt, garlic, or cucumber. It's a unique flavor that I've never experienced before and will probably never experience again. Thanks to Ephese Kebab for satisfying me. I can now die in peace.
