Excellent Breton beers are served there and the dishes served in the restaurant are delicious. Very good value for money. The staff is cheerful and communicative. Furthermore, this place is impeccably clean (kitchen and toilets). Only one drawback: very busy and cramped during the Interceltic Festival, it would be necessary to have the possibility of dancing outside.

28/10/2023: A restaurant that smells very bad This establishment was recommended to us as one of the decent restaurants in Vannes. We came to book for the evening. The waitress told us that there was only one table left at 7:15 p.m. and offered us the table in front of the fireplace, which looked very pleasant, even if it meant eating at nursing home time... At 7:30 p.m., we were the only ones in the restaurant. We had a glass of wine as an aperitif, asking to have time to taste it. 30 seconds later, we had the endless appetizer – very nice – and another 30 seconds later, the dishes arrived. Time for the aperitif… The whole meal was dispatched at cavalry speed, and that’s so much the better. Because after a few moments, an old smell of clogged toilets filled the restaurant, or at least our surroundings. We complained about it to the waitress, who mockingly told us that it was normal, since the smell emanates from the fireplace and that there is nothing we can do about it. Wow, good joke! In an empty restaurant, she had to be teasing to give us the smelly seat... Kind, she placed us 3 meters from the fireplace, which didn't change anything. We left after the main course. We obviously asked for a commercial gesture, which was refused since “well, it’s my fault, I can’t help it, it’s been going on for years”. In short, a fiasco, too expensive for what it is. The food is certainly nice, but the smell of latrines overcame our taste judgment. Added to that the lie about the free table – you have to come early so that the service is smooth and the waitress can go to bed early – we understand that the important thing for these restaurateurs is not that you have a good evening , but that you bring your money back to them. Lousy.
