31/08/2024: We went there on a weekday evening before opening to make sure there was enough room. There were 8 of us but we were refused access because there was no table for 8 people. We then proposed to split into two tables of 4, which was also refused because that would cause too many customers (so if two groups of 4 had come, would they have been refused?). Seeing that we found solutions to each problem, we were then asked if we were all thinking of having burgers. Thinking that this would make the task easier, we said yes. But this was impossible because each burger takes 15 minutes to cook. We say we don't mind waiting a long time to be served, but we are still refused. And all this in a cold and expeditious exchange. It's a real shame because we had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, but the welcome was so disrespectful that it doesn't make you want to come back...

03/12/2024: Very cool! We went there for brunch. This was the first one I made and it makes me want to make more! The dishes available were very varied (there is something for all tastes), coffee, orange juice is unlimited which is very appreciated. Small downside on the available space because we were very crowded at the table and having a stroller, we didn't really have the possibility of parking it somewhere. But I would happily come back!

27/11/2024: A typical and atypical place. Typical for the warm welcome as well as the delicious Breton pastries. Atypical because of its configuration which I will let you discover, otherwise, what are holidays for?

28/10/2024: So it goes back to this summer so it’s been a while now. But if I can summarize: they are unpleasant, it's really not good (we tested several different things...), it's extremely expensive and the place is not very friendly

27/06/2024: No more way to order by phone. We wait 20 minutes to get someone online who only knows how to say one word "internet". So when we managed to get by with the site we didn't get what we wanted. The only positive point is the professionalism of the delivery person.

25/05/2024: We were good customers until now for this last order we are disappointed. Fan of hot cheese now they are empty and don't taste the same. The burger bun is overcooked and to get sauce now you have to put ×5 to get it, so the price has increased. Not the same quality anymore. Hoping that changes.

06/07/2025: Papy Joe in Lorient: a huge disappointment, even as a takeout. I had fond memories of this restaurant, but this takeout order really put me off. The burger was bland, uninteresting, a far cry from the delicious recipes of yesteryear. The fries? Reheated leftovers, hard as cardboard, despite a cheddar sauce meant to enhance the flavor. The most regrettable thing is to see how much the quality has declined. Before, there was more choice, burgers crafted with original flavors. Today, we're far from that. Result: 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries, 1 brownie, and €43 for a frankly mediocre experience. Avoid, even for a quick order.

01/07/2025: I ordered via Uber Eats, having fond memories of Papy Joe's, they've obviously changed their menu and the quality as well. Burgers are much less tasty than before and the "cheddar fries" are soggy and without any cheddar in reality, they taste like a low-end cheddar sauce...

07/08/2024: There are places where we feel good. There are places where whatever the age group, the staff is attentive. It is quite simply for these reasons that I regularly frequent this establishment which gives off a natural warmth which feels good. Whether you are alone or accompanied, the professionalism of Mathieu, Maël or Titouan will not leave you indifferent. If you read negative reviews, it is certainly not due to the establishment...... I don't have any interest in this establishment yet😄...so without hesitation you can try it. Enjoy

11/12/2024: I'm waiting for my salary and above all to stop making pre-cooked bread lidyl are better than you the worst is that it worries you lol lol plus the boss doesn't even collect registered mail..... Frozen pre-cooked pizza + panini produced the day before disgusting and too expensive I'm going on.... I still haven't been paid... I don't forget... and taunting the authorities is not correct Mr Bihan
