07/06/2026: Excellent coffee and a lovely place to relax. We enjoyed a very nice grand café crème, served perfectly and full of flavour. Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and a great spot to sit and watch the world go by. We would happily visit again. Highly recommended

09/07/2025: My previous review has been revised due to a change in our previous location. My apologies to the owner. I discovered Villa Margaret thanks to a friend from Lanester. A great place to stay. Magnificent view and top-notch cocktails. Thank you for your hospitality.
05/07/2025: We waited 15 minutes at the table for a drink. The waiter walked past us 3 times to clear the tables next to us, and stayed at the bar laughing between clearing the tables. So we went to the bar next door, were served straight away and greeted with a smile. We went to the beach bar, very warm welcome.

However, the waiter deserves a lot of credit; he was the only one serving and handling the platters while the owner (or a waitress) was busy arranging a few packs of cigarettes despite the long line at the bar. Astounding.

This "Don't throw anything away, there'll be someone else" policy is a real shame! Burger King next time.

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and offers good advice when needed.
The room was comfortable.
The breakfast was plentiful.
We preferred this small, independent hotel to the chain hotels.
We sincerely recommend this place, and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely book there again.

17/05/2026: Wow! What a fantastic restaurant! It looks quite simple from the outside and isn't particularly inviting. But the inside is a completely different story: warm, cozy, and with a very welcoming atmosphere. The food is simply perfect, using simple, local ingredients in the dishes we ordered. We'll definitely be back. And all for a very reasonable price. We especially loved the tagliatelle with clams and the kouign amann.

12/05/2026: Passing through Malestroit, we checked restaurant reviews and ended up at Le Jardin de Tirpen.
We weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite!
The owners are very friendly; the food is delicious (everything is homemade), and all served with good humor and smiles!
We wish you a wonderful and well-deserved retirement!

08/06/2026: We came for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. Despite the crowds, the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The dishes were delicious, generous, and well-presented. Special mention goes to the terrace, whose idyllic view adds a real charm to the meal. A lovely place we'll gladly return to.

The value for money is unbeatable. The service is quick and attentive; you can tell the team takes pride in doing things well. An authentic place where you feel right at home. I highly recommend this gem on Rue de la Gare, perfect for lunch or dinner with friends or family!

11/08/2025: Don't go there, you wait 1 hour to be served, they are not professional at all and are overwhelmed and the worst thing is that the waiter, a boy, is very unpleasant and speaks badly, change jobs sir, you might be happier. Go to the café on the pier next door instead, the manager is lovely and there are fewer people and it's cheaper.
