27/08/2026: Excellent food - disastrous experience
We ordered takeaway pad thai and bo bun. Everything could have been perfect if we hadn't waited so long (including 15 minutes while our dishes were waiting on the serving hatch), if the bag given and loaded by the server hadn't ripped open in the middle (neither the handles nor the bottom: a quality defect, it seems to me, visible in the photo), if the other server refused to take the trash we had collected from this accident, telling us to take it further down the street, and if the second time I was given the bags I was advised to "hold them properly underneath this time" (difficult when they're scalding hot, and why did we invent handles then?). Finally, upon arriving home, the new, less full bags also ripped open at the same point, despite no friction. To make matters worse, the food tray tore at the bottom due to the moisture from the dish… they seriously need to consider changing their equipment because at €17 a meal, this is quite unacceptable! Otherwise, the contents were excellent, generously filled, and full of flavor!
18/08/2026: The food is good and plentiful. The location is great. The service is friendly and welcoming. The only slight drawback: the wait time to be served was a bit too long.

27/08/2026: The servers are rude! The mod is a bit rough, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired! I don't recommend it.
27/08/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. We were there for an hour and a half, mainly due to the wait and various service problems.
Once our order was served, the drinks were missing. We asked for them once, then a second time, and finally had to go back to the counter ourselves to get them.
We had also ordered ice cream for later. The result: a wait of over 20 minutes. An employee had told us he would take care of it, but he was busy with something else, and we had to wait without really knowing when it would arrive.
I can completely understand that there might be a staff shortage, and honestly, it was very noticeable. The employees seemed completely overwhelmed and were struggling to manage the situation. However, measures should be put in place to prevent this kind of situation from happening again.
Ultimately, frustrated customers due to the long wait and stressed, overwhelmed employees mean no one wins. It's a shame, because with better organization and more resources, the experience could be very different.

11/07/2026: So… I might be lucky, judging by some of the reviews, but every time I go, I'm never disappointed! That said, I don't get sandwiches, bread, or croissants, so I can't comment on those, but their Basque cream cake is my absolute favorite! And I've tried quite a few… and the "Russian" cake is a delight, truly like the ones my Russian neighbors used to make when I lived with them a long time ago (but you have to like cream and hazelnuts 😉). All this at a very reasonable price.
11/07/2026: The welcome wasn't the warmest, but it was still acceptable. We ordered some specialty breads; they were good, but there was indeed a slight taste on the bottom of the loaf. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'd say it was a mixture of yeast and old flour. A good cleaning or replacing the baking mats would certainly be necessary. It's a shame because otherwise, the breads are good.

15/09/2024: Le spot est top, l’accueil est chaleureux, l’équipe très sympa. La salade caesar est bonne et copieuse (j’ai trouvé un petit manque de cuisson sur certaines parties du poulet croustillant, mais ça reste personnel ).
06/09/2024: Un lugar con mucho encanto y más de noche, a pensar del mal tiempo que hacía. El trato genial y las cheese burger que cenamos, espectaculares. Si no eres de aquí, te atienden en cualquier idioma 👏🏻
