18/02/2026: Scheduled for 10:30 AM. At 11:15 AM, it was impossible to order at the drive-thru without any apology or explanation. No one was there to inform us, and when you approached an employee, they practically told you to get lost. This McDonald's is the worst in the department; luckily, they have the season to redeem themselves.

02/01/2026: This bar was astonishing! This morning, on the terrace, we replaced two tourists who had ordered two freshly squeezed orange juices. The receipt was on the table: 2 x 4 = €8. We also ordered two freshly squeezed orange juices, and when it came time to pay, I asked the waiter, handing him a €10 note, "How much do I owe you?" Seeing my cash and not having given him a receipt, the waiter replied, "€9."... It was infuriating, and I preferred to say nothing! Tourists are known for complaining, everyone knows that. The person at the next table, with whom we chatted, made the same comment about their coffees, paid for in cash without a receipt! They were so expensive! A word to the wise! This bar is a tourist trap, definitely one to avoid! The waiter, a small man in his sixties (perhaps the owner), will surely recognize himself!

27/02/2026: A lovely, pleasant place with a pleasant outdoor terrace and a very typical dining room. As for the food, I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious platter of perfectly cooked prawns. And a wonderful chocolate fondant.

12/12/2025: My colleagues and I took our lunch break in this "restaurant" to eat. The pizzas, supposedly homemade, had a bad dough, the atmosphere was gloomy, and the decor left much to be desired. We felt like we were entering a cave rather than a restaurant, not to mention the owner's comment about the door being half open. We were not happy with the service provided by this restaurant, and this place is not recommended.

16/11/2025: A wonderful surprise! We stumbled upon it by chance, as most of the restaurants were closed. It's located at the gas station next to the entrance to the village. Besides pizzas, they have a mini self-service area where you can choose the daily special—good quality at a good price. The views from the dining room are spectacular.

08/12/2025: The bread was the same as from an industrial bakery. And the saleswoman forgot to smile. It'll do in a pinch. Quite simply.

12/02/2026: The worst McDonald's in the region... even when there's no one there, the service is super slow... Not to mention the systematic omissions in the order, no fries, no bacon... half the time.

08/02/2026: I went to the drive-thru for an order of around €50. When I arrived at the pickup point, I was given a bag with a children's meal and a few burgers, then a "thank you, goodbye." As I walked a little further, I realized the drinks, ice cream, and fries were missing... and once I got home, I even noticed the sauces were gone. So I went back inside to point out the omissions: I was given the drinks and ice cream, then it was "thank you, goodbye" again. A few seconds later, I noticed the fries were still missing, so I had to go back and ask for them. Regarding the ice cream: it was served in cups because they were out of tubs, with a clearly insufficient quantity for €4.60. Moreover, this isn't the first time: on a previous visit the same day, the ice cream was very poorly served (barely a quarter of a tub). Result: incomplete order several times, numerous trips back and forth, and poorly served ice cream. Very disappointed for a drive-through that's supposed to be quick and convenient.

08/02/2026: We all know that ski resort restaurants aren't exactly known for their quality food or good service (I've never understood why), although there are some exceptions. Well, I think Chalet de la Calmazeille takes the prize for the worst ski resort restaurant in the world. We ordered hamburgers with fries, and I honestly don't know what we ate. The fries were cold, soggy, and tasteless, and the hamburgers were mushy, cold, and filled with seasonings that were indecipherable to the taste, smell, and even sight. The bread? I won't even mention it; instead of bread, it was a soggy mess of flour 🤮 The service? Absolutely useless, even though we had small children with us. The atmosphere? Good luck finding a table, cleaning it up, and hoping you don't drop anything on the floor... The price? A hamburger (or whatever that thing is), with (cold) fries and a beer, €30! If you're going skiing in Formigueres, bring a picnic from home.

25/02/2026: I grabbed some take away food here after a long and tiring day of travel. They were about to close so I chose quickly. The food was a lovely surprise, tasty and filling, I will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

21/01/2026: A loyal customer of this establishment since its beginnings, and even before when it had a kiosk at the train station, I just learned of the change of ownership. While the products look the same, some have declined in quality or disappeared altogether (Florentines, coconut macaroons). I bought a ham and butter sandwich twice; the bread was hard and hadn't risen, and the ham was microscopic (before, the bread was divine and crispy). The cake looks the same, but where have the candied fruits gone? I only saw three small cubes (it used to be one of my favorites). The croissants are no longer made with butter, and the same goes for the pain au chocolat, which have declined in quality. Meanwhile, the prices have gone up, and the slice of galette des rois at €3.40 was microscopic and very poorly cut. In short, I'm disappointed, especially since the service isn't great, and when it's busy, it's chaotic. I miss the previous owners who put their heart and soul into this business, which was bordering on thriving. Excellence... A disappointed former customer
