25/03/2024: Fred has changed her menu to include smaller dishes which gave us the opportunity to taste more of her unique and wonderful food. Where other local restaurants are mainly Catalan in their approach Fred creates a delicious and interesting fusion of various flavours and ingredients. She is a very talented chef who is passionate about pleasing her guests. . Her restaurant is an experience.. not only culinary but also to share time with her vibrant and engaging personalty. It’s an evening of fun and atmosphere where every morsal you taste is exceptional. Le Trencadis never disappoints.

27/11/2023: Warm and cheerful welcome, good variety of dishes, very generous, quality at a more than affordable price. Kebab fries with drink for less than €12. With a terrace directly overlooking the port and sea view.
I recommend 1000%.

There is something for everyone, local wines (conventional, biodynamic and even natural), local beers, spirits from here and elsewhere, etc.
All this at prices that are more than fair and respectful of the winegrowers. Don't hesitate, if you want to find some gems, head to the Cave a Féfé!

05/04/2024: Order placed at 7:47 p.m. delivery 9:03 p.m. upon ordering I am told delivery in 40 minutes at 8 p.m. I call after 15 minutes of waiting on the phone I am told yes we are a little late and upon delivery I am not even offered of hot sauce despite it I still give a little extra to the delivery man it's normal in short not even an excuse for the delay very disappointed

18/04/2024: We really like it, it's rustic, the cook is alone and makes very good food with local products, good wine, very good homemade sangria. Access to the hostel is a very small, superb winding road.

The entrance may not be obviouse but it is worth finding. It feels like your in the middle of the forest as you look out the picture windows onto a valley of trees. Superb spot delightful surroundings, excellent food.

Gentle and friendly staff, table service, clean and warm place, relaxing atmosphere.
I stopped there simply to drink a coffee alone while waiting for an appointment, and it was a pleasure.
Comfortable benches upstairs like work tables on the ground floor,
The drinks are good and the homemade pastries too. Very reasonable prices for an indefinite period.
I remember the address for my visits to Perpignan, I hope that the place will hold up over time.
