21/01/2026: I highly recommend this café, both here and in real life! I tell my friends about Puzzle Café, saying it's the best café in Old Lyon. The chai latte is incredible, the matcha is very good, and the hot chocolate is great too! You can have your coffee brewed using different methods, like the drip method, which isn't something you see everywhere.
The pastries are amazing. The carrot cake is definitely the best I've had in Lyon, and the vegan pear and almond cake is to die for. I can't wait to try the rest! 🥹 The coffee is great, but the pastries are seriously underrated! 🥲
The atmosphere is nice, there are plenty of tables, and the decor is vintage/retro and authentic. The customer service could be warmer, though—that's the only real area for improvement I see!
You can tell they have a real expertise with coffee, and for coffee lovers, it's a real treat.
04/01/2026: A place where I feel truly at ease. The space is large, bright, and calm, even when it's busy. Inside and on the terrace, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.
I love to settle in there, notebook open, with a hot chocolate often served with a pretty design on the cup. And the fact that they're open on Sundays is a real bonus.

19/10/2024: Very nice surprise last night. Welcome, quality products and reasonable prices. The winning trio. The pizza dough is perfect. The hardest part is choosing everything you can put on your pizza. It's a departure from the traditional round pizza!

07/01/2026: If you're not a student and white (sorry, but it has to be said), just don't go.
From the moment I walked in, the welcome was particularly cold, with an immediate feeling of not being welcome.
The evening menu was also surprising: no hot drinks (tea, coffee), which is odd for an establishment open during the winter. (There was snow.)
Several things happened throughout the evening that significantly detracted from the experience. At 9 p.m., I was asked to move to another room because one had closed early (I understand). At 10:14 p.m., even though Google indicated closing time as 11:30 p.m., a waitress asked me to transfer my drink into a plastic cup so the glasses could be cleaned. Finally, at 10:40 p.m., I was asked to leave the establishment.
These practices contradict the advertised hours and give the impression of disrespectful customer service. The experience was uncomfortable, frustrating, and particularly disappointing.
It would be advisable for the establishment to clearly display its actual closing times and the type of clientele it intends to serve, in order to avoid this kind of situation and preserve the customer experience. As it stands, this visit remains one of the worst experiences I've had in a café.

01/07/2025: Good experience, just be careful with the restrooms and the cleaner on Tuesday, July 1st (an elderly woman with dark hair who was on the first floor) at 12:10 p.m. because she kicked my leg even though I'm disabled, and it hurt, but she didn't apologize at all!!!!
In short, the rest of the team is fantastic, with a good atmosphere and excellent service.
29/06/2025: Cold and limp fries when I ask to change them they do it without problem but to serve me the same thing again result arrived at home inedible fries disappointed

12/09/2024: In general, it has been a wonderful visit, the prices are not exaggerated, the level of food is very good, in general, perfect flavors and textures, the 47cl red wine carafe highly recommended, in general I recommend stopping by here
11/09/2024: Good restaurant but a little simple in terms of flavors. Bad “taste”-price ratio because we cannot deny the quality of the products on the plate. A little expensive for a very unrefined cuisine with not very earth-shattering flavors.
Fast and quality service. Friendly and pleasant staff.
Room exposed to the entrance to the restaurant and therefore exposed to drafts.
Unpleasant background music.

16/12/2023: Dubitatif sur les bubble tea après une mauvaise expérience,un ami m'y à emmener et j'y retourne très souvent tellement c'est bon. Personnel très sympathique, prévoir de l'attente mais c'est normal puisque c'est une excellente adresse.
PS : pour ceux qui ne savent pas puisque ce n'est pas écrit sur la carte , ils font des bành-mi le midi excellent et pas très chère je vous le recommande.
30/11/2023: Que ce soit sur place, à emporter ou en livraison le travail est niquel ! Personnellement c'est mon bubble tea préféré. Car il y a plusieurs choix de goût, on peut choisir si on préfère chaud ou froid, on peut demander plus de sucre même si je trouve qu'en terme de dosage c'est les meilleurs.
l'équipe est vraiment super, très ouvert et friendly. Goûtez y vous y tomberez amoureux, ça deviendra votre base à perrache. Super point maintenant on a une petite salle à côté pour rester au chaud le temps de le déguster.

13/09/2024: Welcome, the antithesis of the word warm. We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning.
There were 5 of us and the saleswoman was probably not happy to work on a Sunday morning, not a hello, not a smile. We take the order, I see her lost, I gently repeat the order to her. I get a “It’s good!!!” very friendly.
We pay and when we collect the order, a coffee and a croissant are missing. As the saleswoman did not give us the receipt, she barked at us that we had to repay the missing order.
We therefore paid dearly for this dishonesty.
