27/08/2026: Attention, restaurant closed. This wasn't indicated on Google or on the voicemail. We were craving duck breast, so we called around 12:30 PM and no one answered. The voicemail said they were open from Tuesday, and it was Wednesday, August 26th. We assumed they were busy. We had come from Courchevel, so we drove up to their place only to find it closed. Updating the voicemail would be a plus.

20/08/2026: After a beautiful hike, we waited 20 minutes for a drink. We went somewhere else. This is a problem we've encountered before in this valley.

30/08/2026: A pleasant spot for lunch on the terrace or for a beer and ice cream. We tried the salads and open-faced sandwiches on the small terrace. They were very good: generous portions, delicious, some with original touches, and beautifully presented with fresh, local ingredients (coppa, dried meat, cheeses). The service was friendly and efficient. There was also a good selection of desserts and ice cream.

19/07/2026: I go there every year to eat waffles and have fondue or raclette. They have a wide variety of items. The sandwiches are the best. They're very generously filled, and you can choose whatever you want.

06/09/2026: A small hotel right on the lake with a fantastic panoramic view. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail, the staff are incredibly attentive and helpful, and the regional dinner is superb! We will definitely be back....

28/09/2026: I regret going to this restaurant. On Saturday evening, September 26, 2026, I witnessed a rather shocking scene. If I understood correctly, a customer who was in a hurry wasn't served on time and had to leave. A waitress (who also appears to be the owner) verbally assaulted this customer in front of everyone, shouting, "Are you kidding me?" The tone was completely unacceptable; if someone had spoken to me like that, there would have been consequences. The lack of professionalism is blatant, and on top of that, the prices are high for this level of service. Another negative point: the restrooms are right next to the kitchen, which isn't very clean and raises hygiene concerns. I don't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for calm, respectful service and a truly clean environment, especially at these prices.

28/09/2026: Broken promise, unfair charge, and aggressive service There were six of us at Sunset between sessions of a tournament at the Casino. Arriving at the empty restaurant, I asked if we could be served in less than 35 minutes, as we absolutely had to return to the tournament on time. The waitress replied, "No problem, you'll be served on time." Forty-five minutes later, still no food. With five minutes until our mandatory departure, I explained that I wouldn't have time to eat the steak tartare I had ordered (which still hadn't arrived) and that I just wanted to pay for my drinks. The waitress insisted I stay, even tried to sell me the dish to go, and then charged me for the tartare and the Monaco cocktail despite my refusal. During this argument, some dishes finally arrived for others. After paying for my drink, I went back to finish it during the four minutes we had left, while some colleagues who were being served hurriedly wolfed down their meals. As I was leaving, the waitress noticed me and called out loudly in front of other customers: "Are you kidding me?!" and "You had time to eat!!!" Avoid this restaurant: broken promises and, above all, aggressive behavior in front of customers. For an empty establishment with high prices, this lack of respect is unacceptable.

07/08/2026: Very friendly staff. I was able to bring my dog ​​on the lift. I'm disabled and use two canes, and the people who take us up slow down the cabins and help us. Great. Up at the top, there's a children's play area, a snack bar, and a restaurant, but it's less welcoming and there's a wait to eat. The burger was very good, €22.50.

30/08/2026: A huge THANK YOU to Rock N' Beer for organizing this festival to close out the summer season! It was a truly fantastic day with its entertainment and activities: pétanque, beer yoga, a skate ramp for kids and adults, concerts, and delicious food! A great atmosphere guaranteed, in a beautiful and welcoming setting.

08/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome despite the kitchen closing 5 minutes later! As a result, we enjoyed an excellent burger and a delicious chicken curry! Top-notch service and a great atmosphere at this pub right at the foot of the slopes 👍

26/08/2026: Located on the route over the Colle de Mont Cenis, at a fairly high altitude. Good cappuccino, and a portion of fries as a snack!

21/08/2026: A one-night stopover on August 1, 2026. A very nice hotel by the roadside with a lake view. Dinner was very good, and breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean.
