01/03/2026: An establishment that was recently taken over and revitalized by a great team of four friends who deserve to be known: On the restaurant/bar side: Cédric – the chef who has mastered the art of delighting our taste buds; Mathieu and Kevin – in the dining room; and Alexis – in the hotel department (I haven't experienced this aspect myself, but he's incredibly friendly and offers excellent wine advice by phone). Highlights: - Location: A charming mountain-style establishment with a warm atmosphere, in the heart of St Nicolas la Chapelle – a small, picturesque hilltop village, a stone's throw from Praz sur Arly. - The restaurant: Three rooms: the bar area, the après-ski area, and the garden room. Tastefully decorated without being overly formal. Kid-friendly and dogs are welcome. The menu apparently changes twice a year (one for winter and one for summer). In the kitchen: the chef has a real gift, possessing great creativity, with starters, main courses, and desserts that combine local specialties with a touch of exoticism, all blended together in his cooking for certain dishes. Our recommendations: Exceptional dishes in our opinion: the breaded poached egg meurette (simply divine!!! - one of their starters), then, in the local style, "tartiflette" (incredibly delicious), their "Croûte" (a must-try and perfect for "gratiné" lovers), the beef tongue in a spicy sauce (not too hot, but Mathieu or Kevin can add more spice for those with a fiery palate 😉). The fondue is best shared by two people, both Savoyard and classic. - The service: The staff is incredibly attentive from start to finish and offers excellent advice without being pushy, whether it's about the homemade aperitifs and cocktails, or the wine or other digestifs to brighten your palate ("always in moderation," of course! 🌟). The setting: elegant and very clean. The little extras: - The plant-filled dining room, which gives it a unique style and... a mountain atmosphere, which is even found in the... "The place where the king goes alone" - simple, clean, and spotless (see photos) - The water served at the table in a pitcher seems to come directly from the spring/fountain located right in front of the restaurant. Our experience: We had the opportunity to dine there twice (on the recommendation of the owner of another place worth visiting: La Ferme de Zecon - Flumet / a small mountain restaurant at the foot of the Evettes slopes - thank you Bernard, Guillaume, and Christophe for this great recommendation!) 01/03/2026: Superb chalet with apartments in the charming village of Saint Nicolas la Chapelle, which has retained its authentic character. The apartments are quiet, well-maintained, and clean, and the welcome was very warm. Restaurants and a grocery store are located at the foot of the chalet. Besides downhill skiing, there are opportunities for winter hiking/snowshoeing, cross-country skiing 20 minutes away in Les Saisies, visits to villages, chapels, oratories, and street art.

19/03/2026: Excellent Savoyard restaurant, the staff are very welcoming and the food is of good quality! A special mention for the fir tree liqueur, which I hadn't tried before ^^

19/03/2026: A wonderful family evening enjoying this beautiful show full of glitter and smiles! Dinner was good, the service was excellent, and the various performances by the artists kept us thoroughly entertained. There was something for everyone, from the Can-Can to Super Mario, with a special mention for Captain Justine who effortlessly transitioned from pointe shoes to high heels, then slippers to a truly impressive contortion act! Go without hesitation; I would have said without hesitation, but it's far too worth seeing! Bravo to the entire Paradice team, on stage, at the box office, and in the audience!

07/12/2025: The store was listed as open today (07/12/25) until 7pm. However, upon arrival, it was closed, and I therefore made the trip for nothing.

16/11/2025: The store and parking lot are well laid out, and the products are nice and not too expensive. The bottle recycling at the entrance is great, it's a shame the second one isn't working, and that there isn't a bin for emptying bottles that still have a little water in them.

04/04/2026: Hello, we placed a click-and-collect order on Friday evening at 11:12 PM. Upon confirming, we learned that the order had to be picked up at 11:30 PM. Being on the road, we rushed to arrive at 11:28 PM. After a 5-minute wait, we were told that our order wasn't ready because it was too late. This is unacceptable. In this case, implement a system to prevent orders after 11 PM; it would avoid these problems. Furthermore, the person serving someone at the drive-thru was busy, so we didn't have time to prepare my order, which I had placed 20 minutes earlier. However, you can place your order directly at the drive-thru. It's ridiculous. For us, the problem is solved; next time, we'll go to a different establishment.

03/04/2026: Super friendly restaurant, served quickly

08/03/2026: Okay, but nothing special. Varied menu with burgers, ribeye steak, pasta, fish… but mediocre food quality. Industrial pasta, poor-quality raclette and fondue. Prices are reasonable. Profiteroles served in astronomical quantities! New dining room with cheap lighting.

03/03/2026: I highly recommend it!!! I came for a friend's birthday and we had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic, the flank steak was delicious. I highly recommend it. I want to thank Esteban for the service; he made the evening even better. Thank you again! If you're ever in Les Menuires, I highly recommend it.

08/03/2026: I love coming to the mountains to hit the slopes, but I've never been able to ski. So I ended up at your bar indulging in my other passion: enjoying a few drinks. What a treat! So many choices, a fantastic atmosphere. The staff is amazing. Long live the black runs! ☺️

16/03/2026: Arrived into resort late on a Saturday night and went to The Marmot just before they stopped food service (9:30pm I think). Ordered two burgers with chips and it was awesome. Excellent food and drink, and not too expensive. Staff were great, and a nice pub atmosphere.

16/01/2026: Great find! Friendly owner who manages his terrace well. Very friendly waitress, dishes a bit pricey but generous and tasty, and no overbooking, so a great customer experience. We'll be back, don't change a thing, it's becoming rare in Les Sybelles.
