08/05/2026: On Thursday, May 7th, two couples of us celebrated the birthdays of our two wives, who shared the same day. We headed to the magnificent Le Montanais restaurant for a romantic dinner for four. What a beautiful place, especially at sunset, with its panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards and the Gaillac countryside! Created in 2015 in a former wine estate near Gaillac, the restaurant blends the authenticity and elegance of its setting with the modernity and creativity of its cuisine. Chef Bastien Arnould expresses himself through flavors, textures, and meticulous presentation, creating refined and gastronomic dishes made with fresh, local produce in a truly charming setting. As for the quality of service, it was remarkable. Marie, the ever-present hostess, moved effortlessly between the tables and the kitchen, her face radiant with a huge smile that never left her face throughout the evening. For those interested, the restaurant has a small, intimate dining room, and for events, the entire space can be reserved for private gatherings in complete privacy and tranquility. We had an exceptional evening, a feast for both the palate and the eyes. A big thank you to the chef and Marie for their thoughtful touch: a decorative plaque with the inscription "Happy Birthday" accompanied the desserts for both wives. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

I love good coffee shops and this one meets all my quality criteria. Tons of delicious pastries, a huge selection of drinks. I love it!

The interior is very pleasant, the decor tasteful, it's large but divided into several nice areas. The outdoor terrace is a bit secluded and quiet. The waiters and waitresses are perfectly in tune with the atmosphere. An eclectic beer selection. The Castel Brune at 11% ABV... is one you appreciate from the first sip, and what follows is an invitation to lean back, to settle in, to linger, like a passerby accompanied by a situation that is, in this case, both persistent and opportune... But enough of this hoppy chatter, we all know who's responsible! Some rums are excellent, but the rule is immutable and you do not mix spirits, under penalty of... more or less immediate sanctions.
