25/05/2026: The hotel was very clean, with two spacious and well-equipped rooms, each with a large terrace. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, featuring delicious fresh, local products. A special mention goes to Charlène, who presented the buffet to us, explaining all the items and serving with cheerfulness. The bedding was comfortable, and the location was very close to the city center, yet very quiet. We would gladly return.

24/05/2026: A full breakfast, perfect service from Charlène and the chef Gwen, who were very welcoming and smiling – nothing to complain about. I highly recommend it. The room had a magnificent view of the Bay of Ajaccio.

26/08/2026: The experience was rather disappointing for several reasons: we were seated on sun loungers without mattresses in a narrow alley alongside the restaurant where we could barely glimpse the sea, and above all, we were crammed in like sardines! The food at the restaurant was generally good, but the meat wasn't cooked properly, and the owner tried to convince us that this wasn't the case. As for the service, it was mediocre, and the staff told me at the end of the day that they were too busy to take my order. We've spent days at private beaches nearby with much better experiences!

24/08/2026: Excellent for lunch on the beach. The avocado toast was very good, as was the salmon poke. At the end of the meal, they bring you a "demonstration" of their desserts to tempt you; the tiramisu was quite good. Prices are a bit high, but we're still on one of the most famous beaches in all of Corsica. Good service throughout most of the meal. Strangely, they didn't charge us for parking that day (we arrived at Palombaggia very early), but in theory, they deduct the parking fee from your lunch.

14/05/2026: Stayed for 4 nights at the end of April 2026. The room was functional and comfortable. A mini bar is available for your own drinks, but no kettle, tea/coffee or mugs are provided. Beautiful and large exterior seating area to enjoy. Pool area clean and beautifully landscaped. Lucie served our breakfasts and she was charming, engaging and fun. On our last day we needed to leave before breakfast service. We spoke to Lucie and she said that she could provide it earlier and it was on our terrace waiting for us, just as requested. Our chats with her were a warm and memorable part of our stay and 6 week trip. The whole complex had a lovely family feel and our dog Rudi was made to feel very welcome. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to return and it is an ideal base to explore Bonifacio!

18/04/2026: Fantastic stay! The guesthouse is charming, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, ideal for enjoying Bonifacio. We received a warm welcome from helpful hosts who offered excellent advice. The breakfast was delicious, featuring high-quality products. One small drawback: the swimming pool wasn't working during our stay, which was a shame. Fortunately, our host recommended a beautiful beach nearby, which more than made up for it. A truly wonderful place that I highly recommend.

01/09/2026: Excellent restaurant in Ajaccio! My lamb chops were absolutely incredible, the Corsican platters were amazing too, and the children's menu delighted my niece. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend it.

14/07/2026: The food was delicious, the steak was a little thin and overcooked, but otherwise it was very good. The service was cool and friendly :) Highly recommended.

16/08/2026: An exceptional stay at Domaine de la Testa! We just spent two fantastic weeks as a family at Domaine de la Testa. Arnaud, the owner, gave us an incredibly warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, offering a peaceful setting to recharge. Arnaud is an exceptionally kind host, always ready to help and assist with the slightest need, demonstrating genuine generosity. More than just a stay, we forged a true friendship. Dylan, his employee, was also wonderful and took excellent care of us throughout our vacation. We wholeheartedly recommend Domaine de la Testa. Arnaud's hospitality, Dylan's kindness, and the beauty of the place make it a true haven of peace. We will definitely be back!

28/07/2026: We accidentally booked an apartment without air conditioning at Domaine de la Testa about six months in advance. At €170 per night (including towels and bed linen), we expected a comfortable stay, especially considering it was Corsica in July. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. We were given what appeared to be the most run-down apartment on the property. Besides the unbearable heat due to the lack of air conditioning, the apartment was old, dirty, dusty, and extremely small. The towels smelled unpleasant, the mattress was worn out, the refrigerator did not work, and the kitchen was poorly equipped—even basic cutlery was in short supply. We immediately raised our concerns with the staff. They acknowledged the problem but told us that a standard apartment would not be available until the following day. To move to that apartment, we were asked to pay an additional €50 per night. The replacement apartment was perfectly acceptable and met the standard we had expected from the start. However, we were shocked that we had to pay €170 for our first night's accommodation, which was clearly not worth that price. While we appreciated that a better apartment became available, it is difficult to understand why such a substandard unit is offered at this rate in the first place.

19/08/2026: It's a shame, because the food was quite good and the setting really pleasant. However, the service was more like an escape room experience: after asking for a carafe of water three times, we finally had to get up and fetch it ourselves. The desserts, meanwhile, decided to take their time: a 30-minute wait. During this time, behind the bar, a member of the team seemed to be on some top-secret mission on their phone. So we had plenty of time to admire the view, chat about everything under the sun… our appetites had vanished, so we cancelled the ice cream sundae we had originally ordered. When we politely pointed out the problem, the "manager" told us she would offer the children's desserts free. A nice gesture… except that when it came time to print the bill, no dessert appeared as complimentary: "Well, yes, it's included in the children's menu." Oh. So, in the end, the gift had already been paid for. 😅 In short, a pretty view unfortunately isn't enough to compensate for such poor service. We left frankly dissatisfied, whereas with a little more attention and professionalism, the experience could have been completely different. Good food, very nice setting, but the service is a deal-breaker. We come to a restaurant to be served, not to participate in the service (otherwise it's a different concept altogether).
