18/02/2026: Korean barbecue is nothing like Korean barbecue! Except for the barbecue itself, which is okay.
The meat is marinated in the European style, not the Asian style. Traditionally, meat is usually served plain.
The meat is of decent quality.
The marinade is way too heavy.
The side dishes? A joke.
No vegetables.
Just Cantonese rice.
Spaghetti.
The owner is quite friendly (probably of Vietnamese origin) when he's not insisting on the portion sizes for the all-you-can-eat option!
The meal was pretty good, although the meat marinade left a bad taste in my mouth.
However, don't call this Korean barbecue.

08/07/2025: For a first experience at this establishment, a disaster.
A very good country terrine, a good foie gras, but for my part, a little too peppery. As for the rest, I can't say!!!! The waiters forgot about us after an hour of waiting, so we got up. When it came to payment, they told me: "I'm not charging you for the dishes!" I replied, "Luckily, we didn't have them..." Not an excuse, nothing, too bad!!!
28/06/2025: The flank steak was very good, cooked over a wood fire.
The service was top-notch and friendly; they made sure we were on time for an appointment we had in the early afternoon.
The terrace is pleasant and protected from the sun.
I recommend it!

The sauerkraut (could use a little more cabbage 🙂) was impeccable

07/03/2026: Visited on Saturday, March 7, 2026: Honestly, it's become pathetic. The waitress didn't ask if we wanted an aperitif, didn't ask if we had chosen fries and ham, flank steak and fries, or burger and fries. Frankly, the meal wasn't anything to write home about (and McDonald's fries are much better). Are you short on fries because the portions are child's size?
We asked for ketchup and they served it in a jar, just the bottom. Are you short on ketchup?
And when my dessert (rum baba) arrived, the scoop of ice cream was served in the lid of the rum baba jar. I felt like a dog, and frankly, there was a lot of rum in the jar.
Honestly, very, very disappointed. It had been a long time since I'd been there, and I won't be going back.

12/02/2026: Always satisfied at Les Lauriers, with a very professional and attentive waiter. Excellent and generous portions. Reasonable prices. I recommend this establishment.

A medieval hotel, two nights with little to no heating (repeated breakdowns of outdated equipment), a cold and even damp atmosphere.
Only the poor cleaning lady was doing everything she could to try and salvage the situation, but it was like putting a band-aid on a broken leg. The restaurant was far from excellent and relatively expensive.
We advise against this establishment, which cannot survive in such conditions (this is the opinion of the three couples and undoubtedly of any sensible person).
14/02/2026: There are a real mix of reviews for this place. Here is our honest experience.
We sat down at 18:35, ordered drinks at 18:40. Drinks arrived at 19:00, ordered food at 19:15. Not a great start.
Food arrived at 20:00… we’re experienced at this kind of service, we live in England, and decided to only order mains, see timing above which helped enable that decision.
Food was disgusting and served cold.
I don’t know whether it’s fair to say this place has clearly seen better days. I think that’s a bit unfair to all of us as paying customers, I don’t think this place has ever been very good.
The other restaurant in the village was fully booked when we arrived… we peaked in on the way home and enviously eyed what looked like really nice food.
Oh yes, and as per previous reviews, only one log used on the fire and it was cold.

The food is very good, the prices are reasonable and the very tender meat is of high quality!
A floating island that's just perfect, and those who don't know anything about it should refrain!...

Service impeccable , tous les serveurs apportent les plats en une fois à table . Bravo
Les assiettes sont chauffées et la viande est cuite parfaitement.
En plus la viande a un très bon goût.

19/05/2024: Malgré le monde nous avons été servis rapidement, les serveurs sont très aimables et souriants.
Mauvais point pour la cuisson des viandes demandée saignante et le steak était cru et la bavette trop cuite donc pour un restaurant spécialisé en grill c’est bien décevant.
20/01/2024: Très bon moment passé malgré une forte clientèle nous avons été servis rapidement au côté de Loukas qui a été très agréable avec nous tout au long du service ! ☺️
