23/02/2026: After four particularly enjoyable visits to this restaurant, I've decided to leave a short review. The authentic decor, the food, the service—everything makes you want to come back. The flammekueches are delicious, varied, and cooked in the restaurant's fireplace. The sauerkraut is also very good, served in generous portions, with the option to take home any leftovers in a container. The food is homemade, and the service is friendly and pleasantly relaxed. The owners are so kind that they brighten up your meal. We've celebrated two birthdays at this restaurant, and both times we were extremely pleased with the service and the food. The restaurant has a friendly clientele, and it's never noisy, having visited at different times of day, both on weekends and weekdays. I can't finish this review without praising the chef for the Banoffee pie—homemade and absolutely delicious! It goes without saying that I highly recommend the restaurant, both for the atmosphere, and for the dishes and desserts.

27/02/2026: The food is very good, especially if you like meat (although those who don't will find dishes to their liking). The prices are reasonable for the location. Four stars only for the ambiance, as the tables are a bit close together, like in all city restaurants, of course.

30/01/2026: The grilled food cooked in the fireplace is delicious, and I always receive a warm welcome. A reliable choice for lunch or dinner. Easy to get to, excellent in its simplicity. We'll gladly return. The live music evenings are also very enjoyable.

03/03/2026: What an experience! A few years ago, I used to go there for work, and it was already the highlight of my day. I went back with my family to introduce them to it. Everyone thought all the dishes were delicious and very generous. The taste of good meat grilled over a wood fire is a real treat.

02/03/2026: After a lovely stroll through the Saint-Cyprien district, along the Garonne River 🌿, we were looking for a place to have a snack and stumbled upon Carson City (4.1 on Google). We thought, why not? First positive point 👍: the employee outside serving ice cream was absolutely fantastic. Smiling, pleasant, nothing to complain about 👌 We sat down… and that's when things got seriously complicated 😕 The owner inside seemed tired and overwhelmed, even though the place wasn't full. The atmosphere was strange. The staff were friendly with the customers, but they were making snide remarks to each other… it created a real awkwardness 😬 As for cleanliness, we had serious doubts 🤨 The cutlery, the carafes, the glasses… we got the impression they hadn't been washed properly. It didn't inspire confidence. The wait? Endless ⏳ Takeaway customers were served before those already seated inside. The result: an enormous wait for waffles, crepes, and a simple ice cream cone. Frankly, it was worth the wait for so little… very disappointing. Honestly, the 4.1 rating seems vastly overrated considering our experience, which was only for afternoon tea. We can't comment on the lunchtime service since we didn't try it. And to top it all off: the restrooms 🚽… catastrophic. Poorly laid, unglued tiles, general disarray. Clearly not up to restaurant standards. Our afternoon ended on a sour note 😞 If we had read a review like this before going, we would have saved €35 ​​and chosen a different place. It's a shame, because the neighborhood is really nice and the walk along the Garonne was great 🌿

03/03/2026: First time we had lunch at this restaurant as a family! And what a pleasant surprise! Everything was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it from appetizer to dessert! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming! Despite the warnings at the restaurant entrance about recent car break-ins, they allowed us to leave our belongings and suitcases behind the counter so we wouldn't have to worry during our meal. We'll be back! And I recommend making a reservation!
