26/02/2026: We loved everything about this place! The service was spot on and super quick - the lady waitress was very friendly even though the place was busy. The food was incredible, great quality and taste!

19/02/2026: My recent dining experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing and far below the standard expected from an establishment operating within a hotel environment. The level of service was, unfortunately, the worst I have encountered to date. Staff appeared unprofessional and insufficiently trained, resulting in a service experience that felt disorganized and inattentive. Floor management was notably absent throughout the visit, and there was no visible oversight to ensure service quality or guest satisfaction. This lack of leadership was reflected in the overall execution of the meal. The one positive aspect was the dessert, which was well-prepared and enjoyable. However, this single highlight does not compensate for the broader service failures. If I were part of the executive management team, I would strongly recommend conducting a comprehensive operational audit and implementing immediate professional training for both staff and management. Until significant improvements are made, I would advise hotel guests to consider alternative dining options.

19/02/2026: I found the atmosphere quite pleasant; it was rather calm. It was easy to talk to people. The service was excellent. Well done! And the food was also very good.

08/12/2025: Having been coming here for a while, we're disappointed with how the restaurant has changed: the manager's welcome is unfriendly, there are arguments between the manager and the servers (which the customers can hear!), and the seats are in terrible condition (they're falling apart). It's a real shame because we used to appreciate one of the waitresses.

30/11/2025: Very disappointing! Poor quality ribeye steak for such a high price. Dauphinoise potatoes were too dry... The Hippopotamus brand has gone downhill considerably. It's a shame, but I won't be going back.
