After a recent experience at a restaurant claiming to be "bistronomic," I can say one thing: some people should pay a visit to Courtepaille and take notes!
Here, you'll find generous portions, perfectly cooked meats, satisfying serving sizes, and above all, a smiling, kind, and pleasant staff.
The food is excellent, you leave satisfied, and most importantly, with the feeling that you got your money's worth. The value for money is truly excellent.
Ultimately, a high bill and a "bistronomic" label don't guarantee a better experience.
So, between going back to D4 or eating at Courtepaille, my choice is easy: next time, I'd much rather eat at four Courtepaille restaurants than just one D4! 😂
Keep it up: great food, generous portions, perfectly cooked dishes, and friendly service. Sometimes, that's all we ask of a restaurant for a wonderful experience. ❤️

However, since the change of ownership, I've really enjoyed this place: a café/restaurant in a pleasant setting with very professional, friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. It has a real neighborhood bistro feel, offering family-style meals and good coffee. I highly recommend this establishment. See you soon!

07/08/2026: The pizzeria is located in a small alley next to the church. The lovely outdoor seating area, with its numerous tables, stretches along the alley. In the evenings, everything is beautifully illuminated with colorful lights. It's truly inviting and peaceful. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The pizzas, pasta dishes, and salads were all delicious. The dessert was also very tasty. And all at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. You won't regret it.

Enjoy the cool shade of the hills, Provençal specialties – I recommend the pistou soup – and other dishes in this family-run restaurant just minutes from the "village in the sky" of Tourtour. The service is friendly and efficient. A lovely time spent with family.
11/08/2026: Absolutely superb. A quaint restaurant with a really great atmosphere. Fantastic, funny and delightful service (thank you for putting up with our poor french!) and seriously, seriously good food (the lavender/'provence' ice cream was the best ice cream I think I've ever tasted).
Thanks again, we'll be back!

15/07/2026: Excellent place! The pizzas were superb, the service top-notch with smiling and friendly waitresses, as well as the very welcoming lady at the register. The prices are reasonable.
Despite not having a reservation, they found us a table. With the heat, we also really appreciated the ice-cold bottle of water served upon arrival – a thoughtful touch.
We highly recommend this pizzeria!

30/07/2026: The atmosphere at Beefbar Saint-Tropez was absolutely fantastic. The design, lighting and overall energy created a stylish and memorable setting, and this was easily the strongest part of the experience.
Unfortunately, two major issues explain my low rating. First, the service was poor. I had to repeat parts of my order several times because they were forgotten, which I find unacceptable for a restaurant positioned at this level. The staff were not consistently attentive, and the service did not match the image or pricing of the venue.
Second, the food was very average despite its fashionable presentation. The dishes looked impressive, but the taste was closer to what I would expect from a mid-priced restaurant and did not justify the premium prices charged. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent, but both the service and food quality need significant improvement.
29/07/2026: We had an absolutely fantastic time at Beefbar Saint-Tropez.
The setting is simply magnificent, with an atmosphere that is elegant, refined, and relaxed all at once.
The food was flawless; the exceptional meats were cooked to perfection and incredibly tender.
The staff was incredibly attentive, and the service was impeccable, dynamic, and warm without being intrusive. Special mention goes to the cocktails, which were as beautiful as they were delicious.

10/09/2026: I've never had a mojito like it! Excellent, I highly recommend it. The servers are very friendly and have a great sense of humor, making the experience very enjoyable. The dish was very well prepared, nothing to complain about.

My partner's meal was perfect, but it seems to me the recipe has changed, and I was disappointed.
You can't please everyone.
But the service was decent... Thank you.
