19/04/2026: I strongly advise against going to this place. I've been there several times before, sometimes with friends to eat, sometimes just for a drink, which makes this experience all the more incomprehensible. This time, I went with my family: we simply wanted drinks and dessert, but the waiter asked us to leave. Such an attitude towards customers is unacceptable. I will never spend another euro there and I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

19/04/2026: Honestly, nothing to complain about, the staff are attentive and super friendly. They do a fantastic job showcasing the old port. I recommend it without hesitation. The parillada was delicious, especially with that sublime aioli. Cheers, little Pernod!

14/07/2026: The service wasn't as fast as promised upon arrival. The food was good but relatively expensive for the portion size. It was noisy at lunchtime.

27/06/2026: I came specifically to try their Marseilles bouillabaisse, priced at 60 euros a portion. At that price, I naturally had certain expectations. The meal was served in two courses: first the soup, then the fish, with the option to add more soup during the meal. The soup itself was decent, but the bread served with it tasted stale, which is a real shame for a bouillabaisse. As for the fish, six pieces were served, but only two were truly good. The others were far too dry and quite disappointing. The service was inconsistent: the waitress was very pleasant, but the waiter much less so. In the end, considering the price and the overall experience, I won't be going back.

04/08/2026: Terrible experience. Over a 45-minute wait, and the manager displayed a complete lack of professionalism towards customers. Poor organization. Dirty table. Inadequate service; we had to try and find another table ourselves. Very disappointed, we will not be returning to this Vapiano. Not recommended.

02/06/2026: Lots of lovely shops and great restaurants, but if you're afraid of heights like me, you can't enjoy them except on the ground floor. There are only escalators suspended in mid-air and transparent, so-called panoramic elevators. No interior stairs to use to climb to the upper floors? It's unbelievable. No enclosed elevators. Is that even possible in a building that accommodates so many people?

01/06/2026: A temple of consumerism. You can find almost anything there. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Exorbitant parking fees.

03/07/2026: Very good. Very fresh, the wine was too warm, but that's the case everywhere in Marseille.

02/07/2026: We are Swiss and were delighted to discover the Asian restaurant "Recettes d'Asile". The Cambodian menu was very well prepared and incredibly fresh. Excellent quality! The waitress was generous and very friendly. The French wine was also excellent. Thank you for everything, we will gladly return!

29/06/2026: I've been going to this café for a long time. I love the cozy atmosphere, the very welcoming staff, and the almost homey feel. The place is always spotless, and the frappuccinos are excellent. A place you'll gladly return to!

07/06/2026: As a long-time customer, I can attest that everything is absolutely delicious, showcasing remarkable expertise that makes this a Marseille institution. My only minor complaint is that, rather than raising prices, some products have shrunk in size over time, notably the Choco XL. This doesn't detract from the quality of the products, which remain among the best you can find.

25/07/2026: The chocolate sorbet ice cream is excellent, it's like chocolate fondant, I swear it's incredible! One of the best ice creams I've ever had.

23/07/2026: I had an excellent experience at this ice cream shop! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a smile by a warm, polite, and very attentive team. The atmosphere is pleasant, the shop is spotlessly clean, and it immediately makes you want to try the many flavors on offer. The ice cream is simply exceptional: it's creamy, generous, and full of flavor. You can tell the ingredients are of very high quality. The selection is impressive, with classic flavors as well as original creations that are definitely worth trying. Every bite is a real treat. The value for money is excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is fast, even when it's busy. The staff takes the time to advise customers and offer samples of certain flavors, which is very much appreciated. It's undoubtedly one of the best ice cream shops I've ever had the pleasure of discovering. I 100% recommend this establishment to all ice cream lovers. I will gladly return and recommend it to all my friends and family. A must-visit address that truly deserves its five stars!

08/06/2026: Amazing doner! The store itself is not shiny and doesn’t look anything special but the meat is fresh and the price is unbelievably great! I’ve never had any sandwich with a fries combo this good with this price before!

12/07/2026: Very tasty pizzas, thin crusts, generously topped. The temperature inside was bearable while it was 30+ degrees outside. Highly recommended (reservations are highly recommended, especially if you are with a larger group).

18/07/2026: Excellent place. Very friendly staff. Varied, fresh, homemade, generous buffet that's regularly replenished. Central location on the Old Port makes it an ideal stop for visiting Marseille. I highly recommend it!

18/07/2026: Perfect, there were three of us and all three were delighted. Everything was delicious, special mention for the panisses – perfect thickness and cooked to perfection. Excellent cocktails. (I would have just added a slightly simpler meat option for the children.)

12/07/2026: While in Marseille, I had the opportunity to visit Les Minots de République on numerous occasions and sample their pastries, sandwiches, and cakes. The quality-price ratio is excellent. Special mention goes to their croissants and pain au chocolat! If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

03/06/2026: A hidden gem! Passing through Marseille after traveling down from Lille, we were looking for a quiet café, perfect for reading. The atmosphere of this tea room is incredible; the owner is a sweetheart and enjoys discussing music, and the ambiance is very warm. The tea menu is extensive, the coffee is good, and the homemade tarts are delicious. In short, a real favorite.
