29/03/2026: I am leaving this review because I couldn't find any reviews from Koreans. This isn't your typical food court!! The system feels new yet a bit awkward. However, the staff were very helpful. You get a number ticket, go to each restaurant to order, and once you sit down, they bring the food to you. Finally, you take your ticket to the counter to pay for everything. I had the burger located furthest inside. The portion was generous, and the beef patty tasted excellent. I think it would be a great place to enjoy drinks outdoors with friends.

22/11/2025: This is the first time this has happened to me, but I wanted to share. I bought 200g of loose-leaf BB DETOX tea today. When I got home, I transferred the tea to its container. Seeing how little there was, I checked the weight and realized that instead of the 200g I bought and paid for, I only had 100g! That's expensive!! Very disappointed...

11/05/2026: The food was delicious overall and it’s a beautiful spot by the water. The server/waiter was friendly for a while but after realizing we were tourists, pressured us into tipping and didn’t have the desire to serve us a meal.

11/03/2026: A very friendly gentleman at the reception desk immediately puts you at ease... What could be better than the delicious daily specials to enjoy a treat? I opted, with some difficulty, for - the pork loin and - the homemade tiramisu... No regrets whatsoever; the bread practically mopped up the plate! 😁😅 A must-visit if you're in the neighborhood! 🤩

19/03/2026: I found a small piece of plastic in my sorbet. I didn't dare say anything to the waiter, but I think it's pretty bad. The piece was quite sharp and about 1.5 cm long. It was gray, probably a piece of the mango sorbet container. I left it in plain sight on my plate when I left. I could have seriously hurt myself, and if I had swallowed it, it wouldn't have been good for my health 😣

09/03/2026: I go there often. Terrasses du Port. Friendly welcome, good clientele, well-maintained, great view, no waiting, good and generous portions. The raspberry garden for dessert is highly recommended.

01/03/2026: The welcome was pleasant, the mussels were good, however the sauce was swimming in oil. A shame about the bland, frozen fries. We didn't eat badly, but we didn't eat well either, so an average rating.

14/04/2026: The InterContinental Marseille – Hôtel Dieu is a five-star establishment. It says so everywhere. The building is magnificent — an 18th-century former hospital inaugurated by Napoleon III, no less. I arrived with my expectations intact. They did not survive the terrace. Perhaps I am being particular. I have been called worse. But when an establishment charges five-star prices and displays five stars above its door, it has entered into an implicit agreement with its guests. I hold up my end. I pay the bill without complaint. In return, I expect the stars to mean something. Had there been no stars, no white-glove pretensions — I would not have bothered. But there are. And so here we are. We were seated on the terrace of Le Capian. And what a terrace it is — in the architectural sense, certainly. In every other sense, winter came, deposited its full inventory of leaves, debris and grime, and nobody thought to object. Something had occupied a section of the floor for the cold months — a planter, a piece of furniture, one can only speculate. It had since been removed. What had not been removed was the evidence of its long residency: grease stains, dark outlines pressed into the stone, the biography of an object that sat undisturbed for months. One might invoke Marseille's famously brisk Mistral winds as a mitigating circumstance. One would be wrong. Any establishment of this classification, in this city, is intimately acquainted with the Mistral. It is not a surprise. It is a forecast. Maintaining a terrace in these conditions is not exceptional hospitality — it is Tuesday. The service rose to the occasion — by which I mean it did not rise at all. Our waitress passed our table with great purpose, that purpose being the table directly behind us. We waited. We continued to wait. One wonders — and I raise this as a man who dresses for his own comfort and has never dressed to impress — whether one's reception here is subject to a quiet visual assessment. I have encountered this philosophy at other addresses of similar standing. It is not more charming the second time. When hospitality finally arrived, it took the form of a bowl of olives. Just olives. No nuts. No accompaniments. At every five-star bar I have visited, the welcome snack has at minimum suggested someone gave it a thought. Here, Le Capian has placed the entire weight of its hospitality onto a single olive. It is, I concede, a very good olive. And yet, at these prices, the snack is not a courtesy — it is a statement. A bowl of solitary olives makes an establishment of this ranking appear, to use a word one rarely associates with five stars, cheap. The following day I visited Le Dantès Skylounge at the Sofitel Marseille Vieux-Port — also five stars. The terrace was clean. The staff acknowledged us. Snacks appeared without negotiation. None of this is remarkable. None of it should be. But that story deserves its own review. Le Capian was entirely content to let the architecture do the talking — and to let the rest of us sit quietly on a dirty terrace, waiting to be noticed. 22/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!! Outraged by the terrible service, our order arrived over 45 minutes late. We contacted the kitchen staff more than three times, insisting that the order was being processed. The order had been forgotten. The manager on duty that day, May 22, 2026, at 11:14 PM, refused to offer any compensation. After reminding him of the rules regarding delays, and despite also being an employee of the company, the manager seemed unaware of them. After finally receiving our order, we discovered that our drink glass wasn't even filled. Appalling service

19/12/2025: Excellent service! The attendant was very welcoming and attentive. We ordered mussels and chicken escalope with a delicious pepper sauce. Our food arrived very quickly, and the service was very friendly 😊 We will definitely be back!
