How many people are in the kitchen?
We came on July 13th for the fireworks.
Around us, it took two hours to get a meal.
When it came time to pay the bill, we were served a hysterical brunette, who was clearly the owner... There was a fight in the restaurant (we certainly know how to celebrate on July 13th). We have to maintain the image of Olympique de Marseille, after all.
Judging by the responses given by the establishment in the recent reviews, we must have come to the wrong place.
Much courage and congratulations to the servers at this establishment who demonstrate such patience. They must be very customer-oriented to process payments smoothly without getting yelled at.

25/06/2026: The desserts and main courses are excellent, truly exquisite, no complaints whatsoever. The chef does a remarkable job.
However, I'm deducting two stars because my bank card was charged twice. Despite my honesty, the cashier didn't believe my explanation and refused to issue a refund or offer any compensation.
I also advise you to carefully check the prices displayed, as some dishes were charged €1 to €2 more at the register. Stay vigilant.

27/10/2025: An unexpected discovery: a wonderful couscous with excellent value for money! Plenty of vegetables and delicious semolina. We also shared a tuna and egg filo pastry seasoned with dill. A real treat! Go without hesitation!

04/05/2026: We came straight to L'ecaillerie for lunch when we got off the plane to Marsielle and what a fantastic way to start our trip in the city!
We had some fantastic house white wine which accompanied the tastiest seafood.
We got the oysters and the prawn tartare and the fries to share. The prawn tartare with the prawn head oil was my favourite and my little tip would be to save the bread to mop up the sauce... incredible!!
I also love when youre sat outside you can see everything picking their fruit and vegetables at the green grocers next door- so cute!
Thank you so much for such a fabulous start to our trip and the tastiest food and great service!

27/07/2026: A restaurant on a lovely street; we had a wonderful evening there. We appreciated Hanissa's warm welcome as much as her thoughtful touches. The clams were served with an exceptional sauce, and the octopus was fresh, accompanied by perfectly cooked vegetables. I highly recommend this place!

21/07/2026: Very unpleasant service. I ordered a €5 lemonade that tasted like Pulco... They don't accept cards for purchases under €15, supposedly because it's a small business, but they make hundreds of thousands of euros in revenue every year. Avoid this place.

08/07/2026: Horrible! We arrived early in the morning by bus. We wanted to greet the sunrise with coffee and croissants, but the salesperson told us that two coffees and three croissants was too little for a family of five, and he refused to serve us! Not only did the kids go hungry, but he also ruined our entire day! The cafe only had one type of croissant and three types of dry, cold pastries. The atmosphere was terrible! The place was dirty and smelly!
And no matter how the owner tries to justify his comment, the fact remains! I asked for coffee and croissants first! When I said coffee first, while I asked the kids what kind of croissants they wanted, he refused to serve us!
To get good reviews, you need to work on yourself and your business!
And be happy and welcoming to every customer, regardless of whether they ordered 2 euros or 200!
