05/04/2026: I am VERY disappointed. The manager was on, very on. Then two scenarios come to mind, either it is a good restaurant that has a positive atmosphere and they have food they are proud of or it is absolutely terrible and they are just trying to get customers who are willing to have a "good" dinner. We ate burgers that were dry and not tasty, and when we were going to pay they said they did not take cards, only cash. "Luckily" there was an ATM that you could withdraw cash 1 meter from the restaurant. The minimum was 20 euros with a fee of just under 5 euros. As I could see in my receipt from my card, it looks like the restaurant owns the ATM. It is one of the wildest things I have ever experienced. We were there in early April.

01/03/2026: The best couscous I've had in Marseille. The portion is more than enough for one person. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Fast service.

10/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise, this lovely little restaurant where the food is delicious. Everything is homemade, go without hesitation! 😋

29/03/2026: Terrible experience! The waitress Marguerita was lost and unpleasant when we asked her for service. The food was cold and the table service was completely inefficient!

28/03/2026: The atmosphere here is cozy and inviting—a perfect place for a quiet dinner or a get-together with friends. The interior is tastefully decorated, with a keen eye for detail.

02/06/2026: Lots of lovely shops and great restaurants, but if you're afraid of heights like me, you can't enjoy them except on the ground floor. There are only escalators suspended in mid-air and transparent, so-called panoramic elevators. No interior stairs to use to climb to the upper floors? It's unbelievable. No enclosed elevators. Is that even possible in a building that accommodates so many people?

01/06/2026: A temple of consumerism. You can find almost anything there. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Exorbitant parking fees.

19/04/2026: Best ice cream I had in Marseille. Interesting flavours- had the sesame and black vanilla 👌🏽

17/04/2026: Real ice cream where you can see the tiny pieces of ice, incredible flavors like dark vanilla and peanut, a real treat, it's worth the trip!

17/04/2026: A delightful surprise! Attentive and pleasant service throughout the meal. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing time. Everything was delicious: flavorful dishes, beautifully presented and prepared with care, using high-quality ingredients. A truly wonderful place! 🤩

23/05/2026: Very disappointed with the experience. My partner and I decided to try these famous pizzas! However, the experience was disastrous. We came specifically for the pizzas, but the menu requires us to order other dishes. We didn't have the option of just ordering one pizza for two people. The minimum order at Etienne's is one pizza for three people; otherwise, they force you to order other dishes (unheard of!). So, we ordered one pizza for three people, worried about wasting food. The restaurant is noisy, the tables are very close together, and the tables are bumped every time the servers pass by. The staff shout to communicate with each other. The pizza arrived, and I was very surprised by the size. My partner and I each got two slices. I don't understand why they call it a pizza for three when there are four slices, and they're very small. After the pizza, the server gave us the menu and asked us to order other dishes. I was craving apple pie, but the waiter was so pushy that it completely killed my appetite. We ordered dessert anyway, and immediately afterward, the bill arrived and we were asked to pay. In this restaurant, where only cash is accepted, you have to spend a reasonable amount, otherwise you're kicked out. The customer experience was disastrous, which is a shame because the pizza itself was good.

23/05/2026: A very pleasant and authentic setting! It's the perfect place to enjoy an excellent anchovy pizza.

13/03/2026: Whether you eat in or take away, the set menus are decent and the service is quick. The staff are helpful and friendly. The desserts are good, even if they add a few euros to the bill.

14/04/2026: I bought a freshly squeezed orange juice and a mango mousse this morning. The gentleman made the orange juice right in front of me. He was lovely and friendly.

09/07/2025: I tried everything😅 My favorites: Fish soup Braised ham Chocolate mousse My least favorites: Frozen and dry bread Bland mussels Uncooked rice, some grains were undercooked Olive tapenade (too greasy) Mashed potatoes (frozen potatoes with water) Frozen desserts Even though I didn't taste absolutely everything, I didn't find anything homemade, from the appetizer to the dessert. I'm still giving it a 3 because it costs €28 for an all-you-can-eat menu with pleasant staff and a little music that makes the meal more enjoyable.

09/07/2025: So, dessert and cocktail wise, it's great. On the other hand, the main course is far from perfect. I went there twice to try it, but honestly, it was the last time. On the other hand, the service is great.
