11/05/2026: We just had lunch at the Super Cadenelle restaurant. An impeccable experience in every respect: service, food, and quick payment. The terrace is peaceful and very pleasant. Special mention for the falafels and compliments to the chef for the delicate and refined flavors that transport you. We'll be back!

18/07/2026: We stopped at La Balagne for a cocktail, the only place in the area with two trees providing a welcome bit of shade this time of year. Besides the excellent cocktails, the warm welcome and the pleasant atmosphere on the terrace made us want to stay for dinner. The pizzas are truly excellent, and the red mullet fillets with pastis were a real treat. In short, a fantastic evening; you can go without hesitation. Thank you, La Balagne, for this lovely evening; we'll gladly return.

17/07/2026: The welcome was more than pleasant; I just left. Since I arrived very late at night, I was lucky enough to encounter a very kind lady who kindly gave me bottles of water and refused to charge me.

11/07/2026: A local burger chain. Choose the Castellane location for the city center and the Pointe Rouge location for its proximity to the sea. The giant burgers are a bit bland. Opt for the smaller ones; they have more flavor! Please note: Only cash is accepted!

12/07/2026: We came to this establishment three nights in a row. Each time, the bouncer refused us entry without any valid reason, while other groups were admitted without any problem. After witnessing several refusals, we noticed that people of Arab/North African origin were systematically turned away. This behavior clearly resembles racial discrimination, contrary to the values ​​that a place meant to be welcoming and open to all should embody. Beyond the lack of respect, this type of practice is probably illegal, as French law prohibits refusing entry to a bar or nightclub based on origin or perceived ethnicity or "race." I strongly advise against this place for anyone who values ​​respect, equal treatment, and a minimum level of professionalism at the door.

Not to mention the broken toilet door, which was completely useless, offering no privacy and being dangerous due to exposed nails. I don't recommend it if you're looking for comfort, even for just one night. I was disappointed; the photos on the website are misleading. However, the staff is very pleasant, attentive, and responsive (5/5). The hotel is well-located but lacks secure parking. It's a shame the staff is perfect, no complaints there, but the room needs a complete overhaul; it's not worth the price.

01/06/2026: I want to inform you of two things: Don't lose anything in this hotel; the thieving staff will never return it, especially if it's a bearded man with glasses who didn't give me my bag that I left downstairs at reception for 5 minutes on my way back to my room. When I asked about the security cameras, they strangely didn't work. A complaint has been filed against this establishment and the manager, who seems to be trying to cover up this theft. Then there's the infernal night with the constant, loud motorcycles and other cars speeding by. The windows aren't soundproofed at all. A cleaning lady enters your room without knocking. This hotel is a great place to have a complete meltdown. Well done, anyway! 👋

07/06/2026: Hello, I ordered a shawarma, but I didn't get any shawarma ingredients. It just looks like a kebab from the snack bar downstairs, a frozen kebab that's not good. Where's the chicken, peppers, onion? There's not even any sauce. I only got a kebab with salad and fries. The wrap isn't cooked.

22/04/2026: Great little snack bar. Fantastic welcome, varied menu. I had a delicious homemade falafel sandwich. It transported me to Egypt. Very friendly manager.

05/07/2026: Usually, your food is really good, but today... special live lunchtime 😤 Welcome to the "Great 8-Pizza Blind Test." Today's mission: identify all 8 pizzas. Mission clearly failed (and not planned!). The Royale, my favorite, was a huge disappointment. The Ham was just a pile of ham lost in the cheese. The Drime was completely drowned in cheese, like the Four Cheese and the Italian 😂 impossible to identify. In the end, we couldn't tell the difference between the 8 pizzas anymore, because they were all the same 🤦. Huh?? Conclusion: it wasn't good, and far from the usual quality... pffff. Let's just say Sunday lunch was a bit too much of a workout in the kitchen? 🤣 And to think there were 11 of us and no one to save the blind test 😭 We won't be back 😤

19/02/2026: What a welcome! The lady was condescending because we didn't know "the so-called classic pastries" or their names. Sorry, I'm not a pastry chef 😂... Patience, tolerance, and a warm welcome would be a real plus for this tea room, which at first glance seems quite nice. The food was so-so and the prices a bit high. It's not exactly inspiring!

03/07/2026: We were looking forward to discovering this establishment and received a very warm welcome. Special mention goes to the waitress who was absolutely lovely and did a superb job, as well as the incredible sunset view! Unfortunately, the disappointment came from the food and the chef's attitude: - The sardine appetizer (new to the menu) was sorely lacking in finesse that it was almost sickening. I couldn't finish it. - The turkey dish was generally bland, but more importantly, some of the meat was raw (the oyster was impossible to cut in half, even though it's supposed to be the most tender part...). We didn't intend to make a fuss, and I simply left the raw pieces aside. However, the chef came to our table to explain, in a very condescending and haughty manner, that his turkey had been marinating for three days and that he was familiar with HACCP standards. We simply wanted to point out a factual cooking defect, without questioning his hygiene. I hadn't intended to leave a negative review, but the chef's bad faith and arrogance in the face of constructive criticism bothered me greatly. It's a shame, because the front-of-house staff deserves much better.

27/06/2026: After staying a night at the Le Corbusier Hotel, my fiancée and I returned for dinner at the adjoining restaurant. It was a fantastic experience, not only for the beautiful location with a sunset view of Marseille, but also for the surreal tranquility of the place, as well as the very unique, sophisticated yet delicious cuisine. We highly recommend it.
