20/09/2026: I've been going to this pub for 15 years, and everything has always been fine, both with the staff and the managers. I've participated in various events (jam sessions, etc.), and last night, the bouncer refused entry to me and a friend, even though we were dressed appropriately and introduced ourselves politely, claiming that "it's expected to be busy tonight" (we've seen the pub much more crowded). A waiter who knew me even went to the bouncer to reassure him, explaining that we were regulars, but it made no difference. To add insult to injury, we went to a nightclub where we were allowed in without any problem. In short, and I've noticed this for some time now: the security staff at this "pub" have become appalling and arrogant towards customers. In short, you've lost loyal customers, and we won't be the last, given your current policy.

11/05/2026: We just had lunch at the Super Cadenelle restaurant. An impeccable experience in every respect: service, food, and quick payment. The terrace is peaceful and very pleasant. Special mention for the falafels and compliments to the chef for the delicate and refined flavors that transport you. We'll be back!

06/09/2026: Huge disappointment! I bought a small raspberry Tropézienne cake for over €10, but the quality was really lacking. The cream had a very strong buttery taste, the brioche was soggy, and there were hardly any raspberries. I've had Tropézienne cakes that were much cheaper and far better. At that price, you really expect quality that lives up to the brand's name and reputation.

26/08/2026: I've been going to Marrou in the Prado district since I arrived in Marseille last May. It's always excellent, whether it's the appetizers, the Friday aioli, the cheeses, or the desserts, especially the lemon tart. Based on this experience, I contacted Marrou to organize a dinner for 18 people. Everything was perfect. From taking the order with a very helpful staff member to the delivery of the beautifully packaged and easy-to-carry dishes, and of course the dinner itself, which was perfect, especially the exceptional cold salmon. A big thank you to the whole team, and an experience we will definitely repeat.

10/08/2026: A very pleasant café with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Attentive service; you're brought in quickly and with a smile, depending on your time slot, not only your coffee but also an individually wrapped biscuit and a glass of water. I really appreciated the complete absence of smoking; everyone respects this, which isn't the case in all cafés, and it makes me want to come back. I returned for an iced coffee, a real treat, served with a paper straw—bravo!

04/08/2026: Frankly, a bad experience. I ordered, I paid, and they didn't give me my change. "No big deal, a few cents," I thought. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. So, we stayed nearby, and still no one called me. I introduced myself, and they told me, "It's in the oven." Okay, no problem, I waited. It was a long wait. I went back again, and then, surprise: the guy had forgotten me and didn't remember me. Since he hadn't given me a receipt, I had no proof of purchase. So, he apologized and told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. No compensation whatsoever for this oversight. The manager remained courteous, I should point out, but the experience was unpleasant.

A waiter told us he would seat us, then someone who seemed to be the manager arrived, looked us up and down, and told us that without a reservation, we couldn't be seated. The way they spoke to us was very unpleasant and condescending, especially in an empty restaurant. Afterwards, we looked at the reviews and found that many customers had the same experience. Unfortunately, our experience confirms these reviews.

The raisin bread on puff pastry was disappointing; it was greasy, very greasy. The baker tried to innovate but failed. I regret not having brioche dough with pastry cream and raisins, just like our mothers used to make. Sir, please go back to basics. I spent almost 9 euros, and I threw away more than three-quarters of these two pastries.

So, I arrived on Saturday, August 22nd, within five minutes of them opening at 7:00 a.m., as friends were waiting for me for breakfast. I bought about fifteen pastries, including eight croissants. One expects a crispy crust, not to mention excellent quality, from this bakery! We were more than disappointed and very angry to be given stale croissants by a rather unfriendly saleswoman! This was truly far from their reputation and the price they charge! Simply outrageous! The same thing happened with the bread I wanted sliced ​​this time. The saleswoman took the opportunity to tell me, "Since you're going to slice it, I'll take these two pieces!" So, cut the day before... (I remind you, they had just opened).
