12/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place while strolling through the center of Martigues. What a pleasant surprise! It's a family-run restaurant, and I received a very warm welcome. But that's not all—the food was delicious! The cuisine was excellent. I almost regret not ordering more tapas.

21/06/2026: We arrived at 12:00 PM and left at 1:55 PM without having finished our meal. It took 30 minutes to take our order, another 30 minutes for the appetizers, and the same again for the main courses. We had asked at the appetizer counter if it would be possible to be served a little faster as we had a commitment at 2:00 PM, but as mentioned earlier, we left without being able to finish our meal, even though we had mostly ordered set menus. As compensation, only one à la carte dish was deducted from the final bill to make up for the five desserts from the set menu that weren't served. The food was good, but nothing special. The service, on the other hand, was very slow, and the owner was quite cutting and sharp-tongued when we asked questions about the menu. It's a shame; we came to have a nice time as a family, and we left frustrated and annoyed.

16/06/2026: The welcome, service, and food were perfect. I highly recommend it, if only for the bouillabaisse. At this price, everything is there, and the taste is excellent. I will definitely return; it's worth the trip from Marseille!

15/08/2026: Recommended at the port by a fisherman who delivers them, so the fish is fresh 😃👍 Only 6 customers at lunchtime, yet the waitress was cold and curt when greeting us, seating us, and taking our order 🤔 Her smile returned as the meal progressed. Fish and shrimp from local catches, cooked by a very friendly Breton chef 🙂: very good, but a bit too much oil at the bottom of the dish... Good value for the €32 set menu. Remember to book for dinner, it gets very busy.

16/08/2026: Mixed reviews. The food is fresh, but some dishes, like the octopus, lack flavor. The fish soup is very good. The bouillabaisse, however, was disappointing: €65 for three pieces of fish, potato, and fennel. Although it tasted good, the fish had bones and wasn't pleasant to eat. It wasn't worth the price. At that price, I expected better—boneless fish and more fish on the plate. Some places add prawns, which are cheaper. However, the taste was good. We had to ask for bread because they forgot to include it, and we only got four pieces with no extra. Furthermore, we were waiting for a ladle, which we also had to ask for after a while. The waiters seemed overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. However, they were helpful and polite. The setting with the boats is pleasant, but too hot to enjoy. Misters would be a welcome addition. In short, it's a bit expensive but the products are fresh, worth trying again to perhaps change my mind, but only when improvements have been made.

15/07/2026: Excellent from start to finish! It was our first time and we loved the flavors, the presentation, the attentive service, and the warm welcome. The July menu is definitely worth checking out! We will gladly return!! (The option to request a vegetarian meal when booking is a real plus!!)

19/08/2026: On August 19, 2026, we arrived at 9:20 PM. The waitress was supposed to seat us at a square table, but instead, she seated other people! Furthermore, once she seated us at another table for seven, she greeted us coldly and aggressively. The waitress, a woman of a certain age with glasses, told us upon seeing us that we were leaving since we hadn't been taken care of and were left alone as if we didn't exist. She even dared to say, "I didn't want you as a customer" (it's worth noting that we are people of color). From beginning to end (this lasted 15 minutes), we looked the waitress up and down as she spoke to us, sighing after every word. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

24/08/2026: A great place for a break! We were passing through and needed a bite to eat... we ended up in exactly the right place. The service was incredibly friendly and the food arrived very quickly. We were especially pleased that the restaurant is dog-friendly. The food also impressed us: it's significantly more creative and higher quality than in typical, standard restaurants. We'll definitely be back!

06/07/2026: We had been coming to this restaurant for years, several times each summer, and we always recommended it to everyone we knew. It's precisely because we were such loyal customers that what followed was all the more disappointing. The meal went very well until dessert. We ordered two chocolate fondant cakes: one was perfectly gooey, the other completely overcooked, dry, and dense. We simply and politely pointed this out to the waiter, without being aggressive, thinking it was an isolated incident. After a quick trip to the kitchen, he returned with this response: “Your daughter was lucky.” In other words, the botched dessert in front of me was considered normal. No self-reflection, no apology, no spontaneous offer of a replacement. It wasn't the cake itself that was the problem. Nor was it the €9 dessert, especially when you're paying a bill of €132 for three people. What's unacceptable is the blatant disregard shown to a customer who simply reports a clearly defective product. When I expressed my disappointment, the owner finally offered a refund… but only after the situation had escalated. A gesture of goodwill is only valuable when it's sincere and spontaneous, not when it's offered reluctantly. The final straw was the owner's intervention. She came out of the restaurant to tell me, "You're the ones who are pathetic, making a fuss over a chocolate cake when people are starving." A completely irrelevant, inappropriate, and deeply disrespectful argument. We were simply in a restaurant, as a family, paying for a service. As with any service, it's normal to expect a product that meets our standards and a minimum of consideration when a problem is reported. What's making us leave today isn't a chocolate cake. It's the arrogance, the complete lack of self-reflection, and the customer service that, in our opinion, are unworthy of an establishment claiming to be a restaurant. Losing loyal customers over a €9 dessert is already regrettable. Losing them through a lack of professionalism and humility is even more so. We won't be back. And that's a real shame, because we genuinely liked this place.
