04/07/2026: A restaurant that deserves to be better known. Pleasant welcome, excellent and generous cuisine, from the southwest and refined Mediterranean.

18/06/2026: We had lunch there with a friend, three of us, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. We received a very warm welcome and were seated on the terrace, in the shade. Three set menus at €27 each: Mixed salad with confit chicken gizzards, excellent, very flavorful. Skewer of chicken fillets, chorizo, and tomatoes, barbecue flavor with Cajun sauce, accompanied by homemade vegetables; the meat was very tender, well-prepared, and delicious. Fresh haddock fillet with lemon cream and chives, accompanied by homemade vegetables, also very good. Roasted pork tenderloin with a creamy Cajun-spiced sauce, accompanied by homemade vegetables; the meat was very tender, slightly pink in the center, perfectly cooked, and excellent. Vanilla crème brûlée with whipped cream, very good. Apple and Armagnac tartlet with rum and raisin ice cream and whipped cream. Ruby, strawberry, blackcurrant, and raspberry ice cream sundae... A rosé wine from the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence region, from Saint Julien Les Martigues, an expression of the Provençal Venice, perfect to accompany the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it; excellent value for money.

05/07/2026: The cuisine is consistently refined, sophisticated, and beautifully presented. One drawback: upon arrival, we were immediately asked to order, our starter was served, and our aperitif wasn't finished. Our coffee was served at the same time as our dessert, so we had to eat it cold (without even asking us to have it served with dessert!). They were cleaning the adjacent tables with a very strong-smelling product while we were enjoying our dessert. We were brought the bill without having asked for it, barely after we'd finished our coffee. It's a shame, the organization is lacking.

17/07/2026: Every summer (or almost) we have our favorite spot at this absolutely fantastic little restaurant. The value for money is exceptional and the staff are absolutely impeccable. It's always the icing on the cake of our holidays in Carro. Thank you.

12/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place while strolling through the center of Martigues. What a pleasant surprise! It's a family-run restaurant, and I received a very warm welcome. But that's not all—the food was delicious! The cuisine was excellent. I almost regret not ordering more tapas.

16/05/2026: I first came by chance, drawn in by the shellfish platter. Not disappointed by the service and the seafood, I returned a second time. The waiter and the owner (who was in the kitchen) were very friendly. Now working in Carro, I will definitely come back.

11/05/2026: As a seafood lover, I came to the shop once to buy oysters and twice to eat alone in the restaurant within two weeks. The welcome and service were very friendly and family-oriented, provided by the owner and his daughter in the evenings, while the mother was in the kitchen. Believe me, it's the best value for money and quantity for shellfish in Martigues and the surrounding area! I plan to return with friends and/or family in the coming days. A must-visit if you love shellfish! P.S.: They also offer a ribeye steak option for those who are less keen on seafood, as well as a children's menu. Sorry about the photo, I'd already started on the boat! 😂

16/05/2026: Superb lunch in the sun on the terrace, the daily special (scallops/bulgur curry) was excellent, with quick and efficient service. I highly recommend this place.

19/05/2026: Thanks to the TV show "The Best Regional Cuisine is at Home" and while passing through Martigues, we booked a table at Francine's. It was a fantastic discovery! We tried the bottarga and octopus 🐙, following the excellent advice of Sonia, the waitress, and everything was absolutely delicious. A truly delightful experience, full of discovery and indulgence. I highly recommend this place!

21/07/2026: A warm welcome. There was a slight problem with the ribeye steak I ordered (it was very fatty). I mentioned it, and the staff immediately apologized and didn't charge me for the dish. Very professional! Everything else was perfect.
