14/02/2024: Very nice place, I was a loyal customer because I went there specifically for the seafood paella...but very DISAPPOINTED to learn that the rice is cooked in meat sauce even though I am vegan and supposedly it was necessary precise if we didn't want meat THEN it's been several years since I didn't need to do it as it's written in the menu on the slate....so the kosher or halal restrictions ATTENTIONS !!

13/10/2023: A very pleasant experience with a very committed and helpful host couple. Great location. The roulottes are a “must”. Nicely furnished and a very nice private outdoor area. And all at a very fair price.

13/09/2023: “Le Nid du Pont de Gau”, yes, it is truly exceptional to be welcomed with joy by the owners of the Hôtel du Pont de Gau. Passing through during our holidays in this beautiful region that is the Camargue, a place to brave the heat with its bulls, horses and pink flamingos to discover their habitats, and the reward at the end with this hotel which is very appreciable with excellent condition of spirit! If some would only believe in it moderately, have confidence in this harmonious place to make people happy, because the happiness felt that this establishment gives off admirably intoxicates you with the luck which watches over you in a pleasant tenderness so as not to miss out on the good ones. things, which are not always as common. 16/03/2024: We ate this lunchtime in this restaurant that we didn't know. The menu at 20€50 first attracted us (very attractive price because it offers starter, main course and dessert), then finally we let ourselves be tempted by the menu, with a perfectly cooked bull steak as requested and a tartare of salmon which was excellent. We asked for the children's menus to be served directly, and they were served very quickly! The sauces (to accompany the fries) are really very good and very well dosed (pepper sauce not too strong, Roquefort sauce not at all cloying) I recommend this restaurant!

03/04/2024: We came to eat, very warm welcome from the staff, pleasant and smiling. Full restaurant and yet little wait Excellent dishes (Camembert plate and raw goat’s cheese fig and ham brick salad). Very pleasant and shaded setting for the heat. Great experience!

10/09/2023: A real little bistro, perfect in every way. A very attentive and competent waiter whose advice can be followed. The shellfish are fresh and the tapas are hearty and delicious. In mid-season without the summer crowds, being on the terrace in the shade is a real pleasure. A very good address that we highly recommend.

09/05/2024: I do not recommend, the meals were cold and the service average.

09/05/2024: There were 9 of us, out of 9 dishes 6 were cold, my steak was raw and frozen, the goat cheese in the salad was stinging, all the fries were cold but good, the dry ones were hard and not seasoned and the mussels were more than absent. The rouille and ratatouille was good. However, the service was pleasant despite the time, offering us a table after accepting us.

22/03/2024: Very pleasant surprise, after having wandered around the Saintes for a good hour looking for the restaurant of my dreams. I came across this incredible brand. I can't describe it because my satisfaction is so immense. I can only say thank you, thank you for the service, the kindness of the servers and obviously the quality/price ratio!

04/04/2024: We had dinner last night at the Les Vagues restaurant and it was a great time. The Cuttlefish a la plancha and Aioli and the salmon were delicious. Thanks to Véro and Franck for their welcome and service. A good address where we met Kendji.

19/02/2024: What a shame....On a weekend in the Camargue with our two daughters aged 2 and 4, we settled under this closed terrace (I emphasize closed). A man on the table next to him lights a cigarette, then two, then three, without hiding...The waitress even brings him an ashtray. We are shocked... What a lack of respect with young children nearby...a lack of respect endorsed by the restaurant since 15 minutes later the person rears up again on the back table. I rarely leave comments, but here....don't overdo it, it's 2024 not 1980

01/04/2024: We spent an evening last night with family, my bull rib cooked perfectly with its accompaniments. Top service and musicians who have nothing to be ashamed of like gypsy kings🤣. What talent.....we had a great time, crazy family atmosphere, we will come back without hesitation.
