01/03/2026: The food was good, but the main courses lacked sophistication, and the poultry was a bit overcooked for my taste. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were always smiling and friendly, but the service was incredibly slow: 3 hours and 30 minutes for 3 courses… that's far too long.
01/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! The chef offers surprising combinations, a refreshing change from "classic" fine dining, and excellent value for money. Beautiful tableware, relaxed yet professional atmosphere. It has all the makings of a Michelin star, and I wish them well!

16/02/2026: This "Indian" evening on February 15th was exceptional and delighted us. Unfamiliar, spicy, beautiful, and delicious dishes (perhaps a touch too many starches, especially with the galette at the start of the meal), an original aperitif that deserves to be a regular offering, not to mention the always efficient and friendly welcome and service. We also appreciated Mr. Perrin's visit to our table to gather our initial impressions. This evening was a very good initiative! We have loved coming to L'Altévic since it opened.

22/02/2026: A magnificent discovery for both the eyes and the palate, featuring exquisitely crafted dishes presented with taste and delicacy in a beautiful Napoleonic building that was once the heart of the industrial area in which it is elegantly nestled. Not to mention the prestigious wine list. Our heartfelt thanks for this wonderful evening. Long live La Closerie and its friendly staff who work with incredible professionalism.

23/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at the entrance to Riquewihr. Tucked away at the end of a quiet alley, this restaurant offers refined and delicious cuisine, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. The setting is charming and the building itself is definitely worth a visit. Just one small drawback: it wasn't very warm. We had a very pleasant time and will certainly be back!
05/01/2026: Typical Alsatian atmosphere. The vegetarian menu is very popular, as is the children's dish. The dishes are revisited and balanced, with attention to flavor. Very friendly staff. Centrally located, but slightly out of the way, making it very quiet. Recommended.

02/07/2025: We came to celebrate my husband's birthday with our family (with our 3 daughters), and frankly, the atmosphere of the service ruined everything: We arrived, barely a hello, no smile, they pointed at the table and said 'that's the table of 5 over there!' I asked very nicely if we could go to the terrace (it's summer, so yes, it's still hot in the evenings, but not at all insurmountable! I was curtly told that no, it's closed!) Regarding drinks: nothing was offered, we had to wait 20 minutes for the wine list, which we had to request (otherwise we would have waited an hour!). We asked if there was an aperitif available: a timid, even unpleasant, response: "the aperitif of the day" (looking at us as if we were asking for something absurd) – while the other tables clearly had several options. Even with the main courses, not a word, no suggestion, no accompaniment. Even less a smile. Result: we had planned to surprise my husband, to give him his gifts, and we had brought a candle for his birthday dessert, but we didn't feel comfortable, we left even before dessert... Our daughters were disappointed, me Also... The food was good—I admit that—but with such an atmosphere...and such mediocre service...it ruins everything!

29/11/2025: We discovered this wonderful place thanks to the Passe-Gourmand guide. The restaurant's entrance alone makes you want to explore the interior. We received a warm welcome from the owner, who let us choose our table. The setting is lovely, with carpeted floors and tastefully chosen decorations and furnishings. Cloth tablecloths and napkins were provided. All the dishes we chose were delicious. For starters, we had foie gras and pumpkin soup with truffle oil. Then came the original and delicious Pretzel Burger. The beef fillet was incredibly tender. I really appreciated that each dish was served piping hot, especially since I'm a slow eater 😅 To finish, the fruit panna cotta and vanilla crème brûlée were delicious! The coffee was also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome, the ambiance, and the food. I highly recommend this place. We'll be back to try the vol-au-vent with morels. Outside, there's a lovely terrace for sunny days. Thank you for this enjoyable time!

We were charmed and delighted to see that such establishments still exist, where the owners are dedicated to making our visit an unforgettable experience.

03/12/2024: What a beautiful house this former coaching inn has become for 29 years one of the most beautiful gastronomic addresses in Alsace, this region so richly endowed in this area. We have had lunch or dinner there a good thirty times since 1996 or 97, initially knowing the room on the ground floor, which became the "Bistrot" after the opening of the gourmet restaurant upstairs, it was nothing but renewed pleasure. and consistent quality. The successive fittings, always accompanied by personalized and tasteful decoration, playing on the contrasts between the magnificent parquet flooring and the new light wood furniture and the associated walls and woodwork in a grey/black theme, only reinforce the warm chic atmosphere of the Auberge. Everything is completed by tables that are always so elegantly set. Martine and Bernard Leray run this House with talent and a passion for entertaining, so that their guests can make the most of the tasty cuisine of the Chef and his team, faithful to Alsace (with nods to Brittany), but which Bernard's personal and creative touch embellishes: Fine potato waffle, Oscietra caviar from Kaviari, cauliflower cream, Hot foie gras escalope from duck, griespflütta, reduced quince and apple juice, Colimaçon snail soup, garlic parsley juice, Beef Consommé in a cup and a slice of snail fricassee, or the Filet of doe, celery puree cooked in Petit Ballon hay, red cabbage without forgetting “Chocolate” for dessert. The wine list compiled over the years by Martine, and for a time by Charlotte, does not forget any region offering renowned names, but also areas to discover, respecting moderation becoming an impossible task. May this Inn, still young, 30 years old in 2025, continue to delight us for as long as possible.
02/12/2024: Quelle belle maison que cet ancien relais de poste devenu depuis 29 ans l'une des plus belles adresses gastronomiques d'Alsace, cette région si richement pourvue dans ce domaine. Nous y avons déjeuné ou dîné une bonne trentaine de fois depuis 1996 ou 97, connu dans les débuts la salle du rez de chaussée, devenue le "Bistrot" après l'ouverture du restaurant gastronomique à l'étage, ce ne fut que plaisir renouvelé et qualité constante.  Les aménagements successifs, toujours accompagnés d'une décoration personnalisée et de bon goût, jouant sur les contrastes entre le magnifique parquet et le nouveau mobilier en bois clair et les murs et boiseries associés dans une thématique gris/noire, ne font que renforcer l'ambiance chaleureuse chic de l'Auberge. Le tout est complété par des tables toujours aussi élégamment dressées.   Martine et Bernard Leray conduisent cette Maison avec talent et la passion de recevoir, afin que leurs hôtes profitent au mieux de la cuisine savoureuse du Chef et de son équipe, fidèle à l'Alsace (avec des clins d'oeil à la Bretagne), mais que la touche personnelle et créative de Bernard embellit :  Fine gaufre de pomme de terre, Caviar osciètre de chez Kaviari crème de choux fleurs, Escalope de foie gras chaud de canard, griespflütta, jus de coing et pommes réduit, La soupe d’escargots du Colimaçon, jus de persil aillé, Consommé de bœuf en tasse et une tartine de fricassée d’escargots, ou encore le Filet de biche, purée de céleri cuit au foin du Petit Ballon, chou rouge sans oublier en dessert "Le Chocolat" . La carte des vins composée au fil des années par Martine, et durant un temps par Charlotte, n'oublie aucune région proposant des noms réputés, mais également des domaines à découvrir, respecter la modération devenant tâche impossible .  Que cette Auberge, encore jeune, 30 ans en 2025, continue à nous régaler le plus longtemps possible  .

02/03/2026: I love discovering new places, those spots where you can have a great time. The Caveau Saint Pierre is a perfect example. Located on the riverbank, in a traditional Alsatian setting, you're greeted politely and kindly. The cuisine is Alsatian, and we ate a typical local dish that our mothers used to make for us—though not nearly as good—40 years ago (I'll let you do the math on that): vol-au-vent with Alsatian pasta. It was delicious, a rare and precious trip down memory lane. Frankly, while there's an explosion of those cheap, impersonal restaurants trying to convince you that you're going to eat the food of our childhood, come to Alsace and you'll see how refined and flavorful it is. With that, I opted for the amazing Grinch cocktail! And what a surprise the crème brûlée was, made right before your eyes. In short, my sweetheart, with her lovely green eyes, and I adored our meal in this tavern so much that I'm keeping my review serious. It's good, it's effective, everything we love!

28/12/2025: We went on holidays so we tried the holiday’s menu that was a truly flavourful experience. The restaurant was cozy and quiet, the waiters very attentive and we can’t say anything bad about any meal, everything was delicious specially the wagyu with wasabi mayonnaise.

12/09/2024: Très déçus de jour en jour par le service et la qualité des plats de ce restaurant. On décide à notre place du dessert prétextant que ce qui a été choisi n était plus disponible. Et ce des le 1er soir. Le lendemain,attente de 30 minutes pour nous servir 2 simples verres de crémant,dessert modifié alors que servi à une autre table et ce remplacé à chaque fois par 3 boucles de glace râpées dans un bol! Le 3 ème soir, nous avons terminé le plat principal vers 23h alors que nous étions à table dès 20 h. Nous avons bien sûr décliné le dessert si tant est qu on nous en aurait encore proposé un! Le personnel de salle s est confondu en excuses mais le problème doit se trouver ailleurs. Dommage je déconseille à cause de ce service plus que déplorable.
28/08/2024: Tres bon restaurant avec une formule du marché intéressante , dommage tartare avait pas mal de nerfs qui rendait le plat désagréable.
