03/09/2026: We ordered 3 ham and cheese paninis, but what we got were frozen baguettes and not paninis at all. I do not recommend them at all, extremely disappointed.

26/09/2026: The mussels marinière were truly mediocre, the savory buckwheat crepe was dry and loaded with too much cheese to mask its poor quality. The only positive point was the waiter's refusal to take our dessert order from the start. Given our disappointment with the main courses, this allowed us to pay and leave without having ordered any.
26/09/2026: Terrace with a pleasant sea view and decent service, though friendliness varied depending on the staff member; perhaps there were a few tense moments?
The oysters were good, served with shallots and lemon.
The shrimp were nice and plump.
The fries were quite good; no sauce was offered, but we asked for some!
As for the mussels, they were a bit pale in color, and many remained closed. Some had a slightly questionable texture, but overall the quality was okay, nothing special. For €19, using Isigny cream would be appreciated.
The carpaccio is served with pesto and Parmesan shavings. However, a piece of chicken fell on mine, I think by mistake, which isn't very reassuring regarding potential cross-contamination. 🤷♀️
A classic seaside restaurant; we had a pleasant time.

04/10/2026: Ridiculous... The appetizers were placed on the table and the main courses arrived at the same time... The mussels were tiny and the sauce was watery!

03/10/2026: Our opinion is more than mixed. We ordered pink shrimp, and they were waterlogged, with limp, runny heads—it's hard to say they were fresh.
The rest of the meal was also disappointing, between the owner's attitude and sarcastic remarks. We won't be returning.

19/09/2026: Living in Cabourg and being a regular customer, I go there a few times a year. Today I went and asked for a 33cl can of beer, and they quoted me €2.50. I understand inflation, but €2.50 is more expensive than a bottle of Hawaii Hawaii beer in a store, even if it's €2.10 for a 2L bottle. That's ridiculous! I won't be going back. You've lost a loyal customer, and in my opinion, with this comment, you're going to lose more than one. €2.50 for a can? What's the deal? It depends on the customer. Don't be ridiculous.

They're really taking customers for fools! Obviously, we won't be back (especially given the other reviews).
This summer, in Brittany, we got a 33cl bottle for €1 less.

24/07/2026: On Tuesday I was buying chocolate and the saleswoman accidentally mixed up the amount I paid and I still don't have the money back in my account.
20/07/2026: We were very disappointed by the reception and lack of kindness, especially since we are loyal customers of this establishment and return every summer holiday to Cabourg.
We came to buy madeleines in your shop, which also serves as a tea room. My 9-year-old son and his father asked to use the restroom, but were refused access on the grounds that there were cameras and that it wasn't permitted.
We found this refusal particularly regrettable, especially since we are regular customers and it was an urgent need. A little understanding and compassion would have been appreciated, particularly towards a child.
This experience leaves us with a very negative impression and unfortunately does not reflect the welcoming image we had of your establishment.

18/08/2024: Un restaurant très bien situé dans Cabourg, très élégant et calme. La cuisine est très raffinée, servie dans une jolie vaisselle, et toujours magnifiquement présentée. Tout est parfait: les différents plats comme le service.
14/08/2024: Je suis venue ce jour avec mes parents et mon mari . Le service était impeccable. Les serveurs étaient très agréables et attentionnés. Les plats etaient chauds et excellents. Le ris de veau est très bien servi et excellent. Le soufflé au grand marnier orange est exceptionnelle et le gâteau au chocolat avec le citron est à tombé.
Le trou normand à été une belle surprise.
Félicitations aux cuisiniers.
Ne changé rien c'est parfait.
Le petit plus, le patron qui vient nous demander si tout va bien.
Je recommande à 200%
