Très bon rapport qualité prix. Endroit cosy avec vue sur l’abbaye. Service jusqu’à 23h30, rare à Caen. A recommander !

The decor is warm and beautifully done; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The dishes are delicious, prepared with passion and a love for cooking. The owner is fantastic: kind, attentive, and always full of excellent advice, especially regarding wine pairings. A must-visit in Caen; we will definitely be back! 🍽️🍷✨

02/12/2025: We organized a student party at Café Régent, and the welcome and service were excellent (food and drinks)! The upstairs room was very pleasant and large enough to accommodate our students. I highly recommend it :)

Free-range chicken with its exceptional sauce cut in front of me, (choice of piece and generous portion), mashed potatoes.
For dessert, I fell for the chocolate mousse, beautifully presented, excellent!
Great experience.

08/07/2025: A group of 20 people welcomed us on the evening of June 17th by the smiling and friendly manager on the terrace in a peaceful setting on a charming little stone square. We had a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts; everything was perfect. Quality service.
We highly recommend this place.
30/06/2025: A friendly atmosphere, as well as the staff. For one, the tripe was worth the detour. For another, a perfect burger, apparently. And the third settled for a salad, not bad! We're even tempted to come back. Too bad it's so far away.
