05/06/2024: We were told the best things about this restaurant and we were disappointed. The dishes are certainly plentiful, but it is only adequate, nothing more. The long wait between each service is another source of dissatisfaction. There is also the absence of little things to nibble with the aperitif which reinforces the disappointment (the appetizers do not whet the appetite, far from it). Another restaurant that contributes to the disappearance of this moment of pleasure! Two positive mentions anyway: the beautiful decor and the friendly waiters and waitresses.

10/06/2024: Big crush on La Tomette! The service was simply brilliant, with an explanation of each dish offered, which was delicious by the way! You can really feel the freshness and quality of the products on the plate.
The team is very pleasant and very welcoming! We had two very good cocktails which were served to us with a superb appetizer. We were also able to taste the Arancini as well as their beef tartare and their burger, it was absolutely incredible! A very good value for money !
The setting is superb and authentic. It’s definitely one of my favorite places in Caen, it’s officially in my top 3 restaurants in Caen! I will definitely come back!

31/03/2024: We were disappointed by the quality of the slightly tough red meat, which we pointed out to the waitress who recognized that we were not the only ones to notice this. Too bad the boss didn't come to see us and also make a commercial gesture.
Then we were surprised to find that the coffee comes from a Nespresso machine, for an establishment like this it is very surprising.
The wine list is excessive.
Our starters were good, the crispy pork too. Very good chocolate desserts.

We took the menu for €29.50 (starter, main course and dessert).
Starter: fish rillette. I found it a little bland so I added salt and pepper.
Dish: haddock steak accompanied by mashed potatoes and pea puree (at least, that's what I perceived). Served in a hot dish. Hearty and very good, so much so that I ate everything.
Dessert: not very impressed by the choice offered, I opted for the chocolate mousse. The shavings placed on top provide crunchiness to counterbalance the foam. A delight.
The staff is smiling and friendly.
We booked which seemed wise given the limited space remaining.

A simple welcome without fuss and jovial, a warm family atmosphere, a room with a "recycled" decoration but downright elegant and cocoon, everything here is pleasant. prepares you a little “soft” cocktail in its own excellent way!! Let's move on to the dishes with an unbeatable knowledge of the menu. In short, everything is perfect right down to the dessert, an address to keep in mind

19/05/2024: This brasserie was recommended to us by a friend. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the lady at the door. We walked into this small quaint place with wine bottles decorating the roof. Our orders arrived quickly and the food was good. Prices very reasonable.

La gérante est la gentillesse incarnée toujours à l’écoute des clients!
Les moules au camembert étaient excellentes ainsi que les burgers que les enfants ont dévorés !
Je recommande a 100% et nous reviendrons avec plaisir lors de notre prochain séjour à Caen!
