13/09/2024: Invitée par mon fils à l'occasion de mon anniversaire, j'ai découvert ce restaurant avec grand plaisir. Un accueil chaleureux, un cadre très agréable, pas trop bruyant. L'équipe est aux petits soins, très attentive au bien être des clients. Les plats sont savoureux, cuisinés avec de bons produits. Une mention spéciale pour le magret de canard accompagné de pommes de terre grenaille et de sa sauce au miel et framboise. Le burger est aussi de grande qualité. Une excellente adresse ! A découvrir sans hésitation !

20/08/2024: Le bistrot basque de l'ancienne adresse avait tellement de charme et d'ambiance! La nouveĺle adresse est une grande salle bien décorée mais qui a perdu son authanticité... la nouvelle carte est pauvre, la formule du midi ne propose plus grd chose: l'entrée et le dessert du jour ont disparu. Bref que de regrets!!! C'est moins bon et Les prix eux ont flambé.

08/09/2024: they have large rooms upstairs, but always closed (probably to avoid cleaning) what do we do when we want to eat on site when there are no free tables? otherwise quite fast on service

01/09/2024: For the taste it's a McDonald's, for the rest really not great, burger completely smashed and barely assembled, but still that's okay it's a classic, the worst is the ice cream service, mcflurries which cost a lot expensive and whose filling does not even reach half the pot, by calculating we reach a little less than 100g of ice cream for almost 6€, it's rubbish, what's more, it's not the first time at all, on my last 4 orders, not once was the mcflurry filled correctly having already worked at Mcdo, I'm not the type to spit on them, but frankly in Caen Center no effort is made, customer service of Uber which also does not help this problem in any way either

29/08/2024: Everything has changed, expeditious service still with our mouths full as we remove the appetizers and don't even start! the aperitif, the starter, the main course and the dessert! No exaggeration! Quantities revised significantly downwards 😬 we will surely not come back!

26/08/2024: As I don't eat animals, I took a vegetarian plate which was frankly mediocre, composed of raw vegetables found in the fridge and mashed potatoes quickly reheated in the microwave for €16.90, it's a bit pathetic …unfortunately no choice because there is no other vegetarian alternative…. Honestly, remove this dish from the menu if it bothers you to make vegetarian dishes. However extremely fast and quality service, the place is great.

30/08/2024: Excellent biscuits with different and rich fillings. Professional and quick service. The house wine, at a good price, is not to be missed. I recommend the galettes with Jamon Serrano (the others are with cooked ham), the one with salmon is also good. If you want to spend little and eat the typical one, I recommend the Complete Creme (which is without fried egg) at 9.50 euros. Average per head of 15/18 euros.

14/09/2024: On nous a offert une Wonderbox qui nous a permis de découvrir ce restaurant. Personnel très sympathique. Nous nous sommes régalés. Nous ne manquerons pas d'y revenir.

26/08/2024: Nous n’étions pas revenus dans ce restaurant situé « dans » le château depuis des années, époque « café Mancel » et Bib gourmand. Sale cosy, simple mais agréable. Menu à 30€ : Jolies entrées (césar revisitée, ceviché frais mais peu assaisonné en sel/citron), plats copieux (cote de cochon excellente mais garniture tartare/caviar aubergines/grenailles un poil riche, bon risotto). Enfin 2 excellents desserts néo classique (millefeuille ganache chocolat et tarte citron) nets, pas trop sucrés et gouteux. Offre vin simple mais efficace. Jeune serveur débutant,…on lui pardonne. Equipe sympathique. Attention : vaisselle pas hyper nette (verre à eau, assiettes noires entrée). Règlement ANCV possible. Le Mancel dispose d’un rooftop à essayer pour l’apéro 😎. Ce resto pourrait être dans le Michelin (même sans distinction).

01/09/2024: Good morning, 08/27/2024, We enjoyed ourselves. The oysters and shrimps are very good and the fresh muscadet sur lie prestige is fruity and not too dry. It does not attack the stomach. As for the boss, he has a friendly contact with the tourist customers that we are.... In short, an address to remember 😉😎

26/08/2024: Location a bit basic and on the road, they don't have champagne by the glass. For these reasons I don't give 5 stars. For the rest the oysters are really excellent and the price is also excellent.
