21/04/2026: The staff was generally unwelcoming and unhelpful. Only the owner, who arrived at the end of his shift, was more pleasant.
The portion of meat in my son's burger was far too small. When I pointed this out to the waitress, her response was curt, stating that this was how they were served, before she walked away without further ado.
The rest of the food was adequate, nothing special. Based on this experience, I recommend choosing another restaurant—there are plenty of alternatives.

06/04/2026: I was really disappointed with the quality of the food. I would have enjoyed a better meal at a fast-food restaurant than here. From the appetizer to the dessert, nothing was up to scratch. One star for the food is already generous. High price for such poor quality.
06/04/2026: The welcome was cold; she put down her newspaper to seat us, then things were fine, they took our order, and then the non-alcoholic aperitif was served, but with alcohol it was a Virgin Mojito, not a Mojito, sir. After that, frankly, my dish wasn't very fresh. When we got to the till, not even a gesture of goodwill for the mistake; I had to tell her next time, be careful with the appetizers. In short, we won't be going back. And Uncle Scoot, you should visit your franchisees a bit, because they represent your image!

27/06/2025: While visiting Honfleur, I found this restaurant to be nice and pleasant.
The meal was generous and delicious. Be aware that the ratatouille was a little spicy, but nothing else to report!
I don't understand the other reviews!
20/06/2025: The terrace is obviously very nice with its view of the port, but we couldn't get a drink or anything to eat because the two waitresses ignored us! Seeing that no one was paying any attention to us, we signaled to one of them who looked at us (without a smile), but continued setting up her table at her leisure! She never came to take our order... So we decided to go somewhere else. Avoid this place if you can!

L entrée est amenée...nous réclamons les aperos commandés. La chef de salle répond qu ils ont déjà été servis. Elle reconnait finalement son erreur.
Nous avons 2 plats : la bouillabaisse est sommaire pour 42 euros !
L autre plat un petit filet de rouget pour 23 e
Nos 4 voisins : 2 femmes sont servies 30 mn après les plats de leurs maris.
La chef de salle refuse 2 nouveaux clients car n ont pas réservé.
5 mn plus tard elle accepte 6 clients qui n avaient pas réservé
En résumé repas bof et service très bof.
Bon courage aux clients
Pour info et être positif nous avons très bien mangé au clos de lupin le même jour à midi à Etretat (regardez mon commentaire 😉)

Bistro La Grenouille - Hotel L'Absinthe

11/04/2026: We spent three days in Honfleur, staying at this hotel, and it was wonderful!
The decor is elegant and tastefully designed, the bedding is very comfortable, and the location is ideal. The breakfast is excellent, with delicious homemade granola!
The atmosphere is both warm and soothing; everything is perfect for a lovely getaway.
The added bonus: there's a fireplace in the main room, which adds a very cozy feel.
30/03/2026: A small hotel in the heart of Honfleur. Check-in was very easy. The lobby is charming. We are a family of four and had a room overlooking the attic. The room was very spacious and lovely. The parking lot is about 300 meters away (€16 per night). In the evening, after 8 pm, you need a code to enter. We had a pleasant stay.
