11/11/2024: The servers are friendly. The oysters are excellent. The fish soup is good but it is really watery, too bad. The café is 2.5e on the terrace. Reasonable prices on the other hand for mineral water I find the price excessive

…and impeccably clean toilets
I warmly recommend this place and will return with great pleasure... my little advice: warmer and less strong lighting will improve the place even more

17/11/2025: We had a lovely time; the food was delicious, and we were charmed by the service.
The salmon with sorrel sauce was cooked to perfection, so tender it was almost too soft to chew.
The young rooster was served with a delicious, artfully seasoned sauce.
As for the homemade crème caramel, it brought back so many childhood memories.
We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

02/09/2024: Nice discovery of a restaurant where the food is good made with good products (not frozen reheated like with some).
The waitress was smiling, pleasant, attentive and warm. I emphasize this because this is not always the case.
The setting and atmosphere was pleasant, located on the side of the historic center so without the crowds and noise if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere

02/09/2024: A short 5 minute walk away from the over priced restaurants in the harbour, you'll find this gem of a place. With perfectly spoken English, the team at Chez DD know their wines! It's not a restaurant, but offers what the French do best...plates of cured years, amazing cheese, divine salads all washed down with the inexpensive but fabulous wine...and change out of Euro60.

Personnel attentionné et efficace,
Terrasse couverte agréable malgré les quelques fuites constatées lors d'un orage intense (a solutionner)
11/09/2024: Great relaxed and friendly atmosphere here with exceptionally helpful and polite staff. Evening meal was from their 3 course choice menu, value for money with great regional dishes to choose from. House wine we chose was a Chardonnay which was both good on the palette and the pocket. Staff to be commended on their welcoming and most helpful approach.

15/12/2024: Very pleasant moment. Beautiful, intimate house, reservations are absolutely necessary. The discovery formula and an excellent idea. It was very original and delicious, we were among friends of 4, it was a real success. The chef is at your side and guides you perfectly in this gastronomic discovery. One of the best references in our region. Well done 🎉
09/12/2024: Very good experience at the Âtre restaurant! We had the 5-course dinner: the meal was very good, warm, while allowing us to rediscover certain “classics” of cuisine with familiar dishes or ingredients! Special mention for the possibility of food and alcohol-free pairings. A real treat to try in Honfleur without hesitation!!

01/12/2024: Une cuisine et des produits parfaits et un service irréprochable. Comme quoi on peut trouver de bons restaurants à Honfleur sans tomber dans les arnaques aux touristes.
30/10/2024: Un cadre typiquement normand avec colombages et pierres apparentes pour déguster des assiettes naviguant entre terre et mer, dans le respect des saisons.
Une cuisine généreuse, gourmande et authentique du terroir normand avec les produits bio issus de maraîchers locaux et des poissons tout juste débarqués des chalutiers Honfleurais.

27/12/2024: Cosy tastefully decorated colorful tearoom. Gives a cheerful vibe! The tea options were good! The waffle was the best, a combination of chocolate and pears, just yummy! Very much recommended when in Hornfleur.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
17/11/2024: Don't move for the galichots!
It's good but not at all filling! For €12-13 a galichot, you will always be hungry. For dessert, we had a butter-sugar crepe to avoid disappointment. The pancakes are €16, which is more expensive than at our usual creperie at the foot of the Eiffel Tower!

29/09/2024: Un ovni parmi les restaurants d'Honfleur:prix très abordable pour une cuisine soignée mais sans prétention.
L'accueil et le service sont très chaleureux et attentionnés.
Un petit bémol : on n'a pas trouvé bonnes les pommes de terre : changez de variété !!

15/09/2024: Very disappointing meal. Nice setting in this historic street at the heart of Honfleur and a cozy restaurant. The service was impeccable but the food nowhere near Michelin quality. The flavours were bland and the component ingredients not well matched. The main course of turbot not particularly impressive - how fresh was it? The wine list was astronomically expensive with no reasonably priced house wine or wine by the glass options. No way does this merit inclusion in the Michelin list

Very good crepes and very friendly service.
22/06/2025: Welcome needs to be reviewed!!! We arrive for 1 crepe and two coffees. We're told that you have to eat two crepes for license 4... what does that have to do with 1 crepe?!
Just to push consumption! Knowing that the restaurant wasn't even full. Thanks, but no! The wife wasn't hungry, so we politely left.
To be avoided, absolutely! There are other, friendlier places in Honfleur!

24/01/2025: We came to eat mussels (with garlic and chorizo), a very good meal and a great waiter.
21/01/2025: Restaurant that blends in with the others on the tourist quay, but nevertheless very welcoming.
Great welcome and served even at 3 p.m. :)
Meal not too expensive, and pretty good. Not the best fries I've had, but not bad.
For me maybe a little too much sauce which overwhelms the rest, but it all depends on taste!
