We had a lovely evening.

The welcome was very friendly and professional, no problem at all with our cat (in a carrier), a wide selection on the menu, diverse and high-quality dishes from both land and sea, from appetizers to desserts. A sufficient drinks menu with very reasonable prices. A great experience, highly recommended.

12/05/2026: The Hotel Restaurant Le Normand is a charming hotel, tastefully and carefully decorated, and very quiet. The bedding is of very good quality.
Well located near the beach, a 3-minute walk away.
Several shops and the market are nearby.
The staff is attentive to its guests.
The daily specials are varied and generous. If you would like to try teurgoule, you can enjoy a dessert that won first prize at the 2026 French Championship. 🎖
We were very happy with our visit and will return.

The service is attentive and respectful, with very satisfactory speed.

16/04/2026: A seaside restaurant open all day, you might think it's "just another one," but it's quite the opposite—surely the best in Houlgate! With friendly service and well-prepared dishes, the surf and turf menu was a delight. The children's menu offers kids the chance to enjoy a delicious meal with fresh fish, which is rare! The wine by the glass is generous and authentic. At the end of the meal, a small glass of Calvados is offered to round off the meal. We highly recommend it!

We received a fantastic welcome from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, warm, and attentive.
A special mention goes to our dog, who was also very well received (offered a bowl of water as soon as we arrived) and accepted without any fuss, which is rare and much appreciated!
As for the food, we have absolutely no complaints: we ordered the four-cheese pasta and the salmon pizza… it was simply delicious 😋 Flavorful dishes, generous portions, and bursting with taste.
We highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant!! The new owners have transformed this once-hidden gem into a wonderful place; congratulations!!

13/08/2024: Délicieux de A à Z, gaspacho tomates ricotta fabuleux, léger et savoureux, risotto aux légumes splendide, crémeux à souhait, belle présentation avec ses légumes croquants, dessert autour de la cerise très réussi, pas trop sucré… service et accueil excellent, salle très sympathique, décoré avec bon goût, un sans faute !
