22/08/2026: Ah, Cathy! What wonderful moments you gave us over the years! A fantastic place where we felt welcomed like family and where we enjoyed delicious food. The mussels are unparalleled in Trouville; you'll find amazing recipes like mussels with Pont L'Eveque cheese, and there was even one with cider (an exceptional recipe I'll never forget). In short, and if only it were just the food! What a welcome! With so much warmth, humor, and professionalism, a visit to La Moulerie was our regular holiday ritual, a pleasure to come to Trouville because we were going to see Cathy; the girls looked forward to it so much. For all of this, a huge, huge, huge thank you.

11/08/2026: We had a delicious meal last Sunday. As usual, we asked beforehand how it works. First of all, you are supposed to get your own bread from the baker. Then you go and look around and discuss what you want with the fishmongers. The prices are listed in kg, so you can quickly calculate the cost. We had 12 oysters for 21 euros. Try getting that in the Netherlands. At least 3.50 euros apiece. Delicious! The other seafood is so fresh and tasty that it is definitely worth the money. When you look at the restaurants in the area around Chez Allain, the prices there are much higher. In short, we had a delicious lunch. By the way, the glasses of wine they serve are 15cl for 7 euros; at the average restaurant, this is 7 euros for 10cl. If you happen to be in the area on Sunday, go over to the market first and then have lunch at Chez Allain or one of its neighbors.

01/08/2026: Excellent!!! Top-notch staff. To improve the seafood platter eaten on-site, a few slices of bread with butter would be perfect! Otherwise, don't change a thing, the products are excellent.

30/05/2026: A family-run hotel just the way we like them. A friendly, human-scale atmosphere and a team that always smiles at you. The location is fantastic 👍

11/09/2026: Hire a professional sound engineer. A one-hour set with constant feedback is unacceptable. (Edit: The artist was Milo Korbenski; I hadn't gone to a punk concert at all.)

03/08/2026: Great venue but they really need more bar staff

30/08/2026: Reservation made by phone. Arrived 10 minutes late; parking was very crowded. Service was quick. During our aperitif, we asked and explained that we had plenty of time. We were served too quickly, giving the impression that we had to rush, almost like fast food. There were three of us ordering mussels and fries, and we were very disappointed! One plate of fries for three people! The fries were supposedly homemade but were overcooked! We would have liked to each have our own small container of fries! For the rest of our meal, we decided to have dessert and coffee elsewhere. A real shame, considering the location of the establishment.

30/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome; the team is lovely and very helpful! We especially loved the four-legged waiter who received tips with cuddles 🐾 We'll definitely be back!

11/09/2026: A typical, very old brasserie. Nice menu. The service was quite friendly. The food is rather simple, perhaps too simple for the prices, even if that's the trend in this area. The decor is quite harsh in the evening, too bright!

22/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in Normandy! I come to this restaurant every time and I'm never disappointed. Each time, I'm completely satisfied: the mussels and crêpes are delicious, and the service is pleasant. It's always a real pleasure to come back here! I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

23/08/2026: The waitress was extremely unpleasant, wearing dark glasses. It seemed like she was sighing when we spoke and demanded payment as soon as we sat down. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

23/08/2026: Mussles were great. Even a little too much for one person. I was full even without eating the chips. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Make sure to sit by the beach if you can.

30/08/2026: A frosty welcome… The waiter (and the waitress, his sister?) didn't even respond to our greeting… Overwhelmed or simply fed up with their jobs? We waited for about twenty minutes, without anyone coming to take our order, before finally leaving. Just 20-30 meters down the road, you can find restaurants where the service is far more polite and respectful. It's a shame, because it doesn't take much to make customers want to stay: a simple hello and a little attention.

I've read some of the comments, and I wonder how anyone can nitpick such minor details when faced with exceptional quality and selection of products, perfect cooking, and service that is both warm and professional. 27/05/2026: I came to spend a few days in Deauville with my family, and we decided to buy a carton of fish soup to take with us up north. However, we noticed a strong smell in the car. We weren't paying attention, but they sold us open jars. That's how you end up throwing away a carton of six soups. What a rip-off!

23/07/2026: After two years, I'm still not disappointed. It's not very expensive and very good! Very well located on the beach. I'll be back again.

26/08/2026: We've been coming here for over ten years and their waffles, burgers, and crepes are delicious. Plus, you can let the kids play on the beach. It's a must-visit in Trouville for us, and the prices are very reasonable!
