11/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience at La Régence. We had a delightful time. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the food delicious. The chef, a true master of sauces, perfectly enhances the dishes with refined and flavorful sauces. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the cooking.
And for lovers of gastronomy and art, the dining room is magnificent, with an elegant and charming ambiance that makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful restaurant in Trouville-sur-Mer that we will gladly return to.
09/05/2026: The food was decent (whelks and periwinkles were unseasoned but the mayonnaise was good, and the langoustines were slightly overcooked), the seafood was very fresh, and the dishes were decent, classic and well-made, without any surprises. We were expecting a quiet atmosphere, but unfortunately, the dining room was very noisy with a group that prompted us to skip dessert and leave. We were a little disappointed because there seemed to be a lack of creativity in the cuisine, except perhaps for the lobster gratin, which was good.

26/04/2026: We were in Trouville, unsure where to eat, and as we passed by Marinette Sylvain's restaurant, the waiter told us a joke, which made us want to go in. Everything was perfect: perfect service, perfect meal. Perfect, we'll be back.

The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes all the difference. You truly feel welcome and taken care of.
The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and perfect for spending a pleasant time, whether with friends or family.
Everything was there for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely return!

16/05/2026: Serge's adorable welcome, the incredibly delicious stracciatella with pepper confit, the perfectly seasoned duck breast with ginger, Jacques' impeccable service (30 years with the restaurant), a warm atmosphere, and the privilege of having Mr. & Mrs. Coullier as table neighbors... we'll definitely be coming back more often!

09/04/2026: Excellent food. The dining room is cozy, a little small, but that's probably what keeps the atmosphere so friendly. You sometimes have to wait a bit for a table, but it's well worth the wait! Very good wines, of course.

27/05/2026: Some rooms are best avoided; the air conditioning barely works, or doesn't work at all.
I tried two rooms, and the problem was the same!
Perhaps the sea-view rooms don't have this issue, but given the prices in high season, I don't think I'd risk trying them.
It's a shame because it's very well located.
It has great potential, but in my opinion, it doesn't live up to the 5-star standards of the region, which I won't mention.
Please, this hotel deserves better. You don't give a room to a couple if the entire floor is full of children; it's just common sense!
We leave our children to rest and sleep, not to be woken up at 3 a.m. by crying...🤦♂️
26/05/2026: We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Cures Marines, and we had an amazing time.
The hotel is beautiful, rooms are comfortable and spacious, perfectly located, very quiet and calm and we were lucky to enjoy sunny and warm weather during our stay. The spa and fitness facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious — with a great selection including chia seeds, brown bread, fresh fruits and veggies, and homemade fresh juices, which I particularly loved.
A special thank you to Thea, the front desk team, and all the staff for their warm welcome and personalised service. A special mention as well to Micka, the sports manager, for his professionalism and friendliness. Keep on shining guys!!!!!
Highly reccommended— we'll be back, best hotel in Trouville!

A wonderful experience.
03/05/2026: We went for a weekend in Trouville... we discovered this restaurant by chance, and went back twice!! The mussels and fries with garlic cream, the ones with mushrooms, and the marinière are AMAZING. The salmon is delicious. The oysters are very high quality.
The tarte tatin with its thick crème fraîche is delicious.
They serve homemade fries just the way we like them, golden and generous, just like Cath, the owner, who is a ball of energy and welcomes you like family.
All the staff were warm and welcoming. A great find that we can't wait to return to.

17/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Although we arrived too early for dinner service, Papou went into the kitchen so we could have dinner before our Calogero concert. And everything was delicious, homemade, truly nothing to complain about, quite the opposite. Good value for money. An establishment I recommend 200%!

07/05/2026: We had a lovely time at this Trouville institution; the Normandy sauce was, as always, excellent, and the ingredients were top-notch.
The downsides were the very high prices compared to what you get (for example, €64 for the sole or €14-16 for desserts) and the rain that poured down on us while we were eating in the conservatory. The waiter kindly tried to plug the leaks, but without success.
04/05/2026: I've been going to Trouville for over 30 years. And I'd never been to the restaurant "Les Vapeurs" until now (May 2026).
The verdict, which I expected: the prices are really high for what you get on your plate.
- The decor is great, retro, stylish, and period-appropriate.
- The staff is very attentive, very welcoming to children too, and they even offered us a complimentary digestif! Excellent! 👍
- The food is good! It's nothing exceptional, but for a brasserie, it's good.
- It's clean; we were inside in a quiet spot, and it wasn't very crowded.
❌ However, the prices are frankly expensive for what you get (a few examples: €7 for a portion of homemade fries, €14 for a chocolate fondant, €14 for a three-scoop sundae). My wife ordered mussels in cream sauce for €21, served without fries, so you have to add €7. That makes €28 for the mussels in cream sauce. I usually pay around €13…
€35 for two small grilled red mullet… or you have to add another side dish.
I included a photo of the desserts to show the prices.
- The location is perfect, facing the port, near Rue des Bains, and close to the beach.
In short, this restaurant is central and eye-catching, and it's been around for years. It's an institution, but I think it's the kind of place you only go to once. Don't go there expecting a good meal or good value for money.
If you go with your family, your wallet will feel it.
If the prices were more affordable, I might consider going back.
I'm giving it 3 stars, that's the maximum!
