25/01/2026: We ate overlooking the harbor, a superb view for a lovely evening. The meal was delicious and generous. After a smooth and velvety homemade fish soup, I had the beef steak with its cognac sauce. The steak was tender and the sauce excellent. The staff were competent, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend it.

08/01/2026: Superb food and an ideal setting, generous portions, a real treat. One drawback: the service wasn't smooth. I arrived during the rush, and when you only have an hour to eat, it's tight (I don't have a choice when you work and have scheduled appointments). They do their best, so just tell them you're in a hurry if needed, and it should be fine, as I saw a gentleman who received everything at once on his table: starter, main course, and dessert. So there's the tip :-) Well done to them, it was super delicious!!

The location of the shop is excellent. I sampled a delicious gin and bought it right away – absolutely recommendable. A new day, a new chance – and also a new gin. Simply delicious!

09/07/2025: On vacation in Royan, we stopped at this restaurant and we were not disappointed: friendly welcome, excellent meal (mussels with gorgonzola sauce and cod with chorizo ​​sauce) with good portions. A special mention for the dessert 😁.

01/01/2026: Lopez!!! The best ice cream parlor in ALL of Royan!! We already knew that!!! And their ice cream logs are to die for!! That was a real discovery. We devoured the Sicilian log!

30/12/2025: We ordered two Yule logs for four people for Christmas, and what a surprise when we took one of them out of its packaging—it was broken! I checked to make sure I hadn't broken it during transport, but no, the broken piece wasn't even in the box. When we politely pointed it out to the saleswoman today, she didn't believe us until she saw the photo, and the only thing she could say was, "But we check them..." Apparently not that often. I'm not saying mistakes can happen, especially during the Christmas season when there are a lot of orders, but the broken piece not being in the box means it was broken as soon as it was packaged in the kitchen... And to top it all off, in addition to being condescending, the saleswoman didn't even apologize, which, given the price of the log (€21.90 for the four-person version, remember), would be the bare minimum... Lopez is a Royan institution, but it's a shame that some employees don't live up to the brand's standards. the company and this damages its image.
