04/07/2026: The service was excellent from start to finish, with a smiling and very attentive team (a real plus when you're with children). The dishes arrived hot, the meat was cooked perfectly, and the children's menus were a hit with everyone. A sure bet for a friendly and welcoming experience. We'll definitely be back!

28/05/2026: It's "amazing" to watch dishes being prepared in front of customers on a hot plate; it's an experience not to be missed. And when the food is excellent and the Japanese chef is friendly, answers your questions, and engages in conversation, what more can you say?
24/05/2026: Probably the best restaurant in Cognac, excellent cuisine and a chef who goes the extra mile. The only downside? It's not well-known enough in Cognac; people don't know what they're missing.

21/03/2026: Just a quick comment to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the manager I dealt with at lunchtime today. He didn't hesitate to taste a drink, though 😅 Luckily, he was one of the young ones who didn't have a sense of smell, and the second time around I would have been met with a brick wall. We should definitely take a page from this young manager's book. Thanks again. (Note: The housekeeping wasn't great, though...)

I eat there very often (I work in the vape shop next door) and I've never been disappointed! 😁
Clearly the best croissants I've ever had. 💯
Great selection of sandwiches!
Original fillings, fresh ingredients with homemade bread and sauces, classic/cured ham, all high quality (my favorite is the Salmon Viennese 🔥).
More expensive than a regular bakery, but I've never minded paying more for quality.
I recommend it!!

01/06/2026: This hospital is definitely not recommended. The staff is unpleasant, especially in the gynecology department, which is extremely poor and needs to be completely overhauled. They give opinions that have nothing to do with basic medical care and are unprofessional, potentially endangering patients with their diagnoses.

And starter, main course, dessert.
My wife and I spent €90 for two for a Saturday lunch, which is extremely expensive to eat mass market foie gras while we are in the Gers, a so-called royal sea bream but in fact it is only 'an insignificant fillet of sea bream and a truly ridiculous steak of beef.
Not normal to only have 2 menus on the weekend knowing that the first price is €29 and the second is €36 for nothing exceptional.
To be banned or to revise prices downwards.

Nous remercions les cuistos, les plats sont propres, avec du goût.
Bonne ambiance ça fait plaisir, je recommande ce restaurant sur Cognac.

Le personnel, les plats, les prix, l'endroit magnifique.
Que demander de plus? La qualité, le soin, l'amabilité ? Tout y est! Je recommande fortement la cantine du Roy (même si nous n'avons toujours pas vu le roi :) )
