30/10/2025: Excellent canteen, lovely manager. We ate plenty of the various dishes that were left over at the end of the afternoon, all for a very reasonable price and in a pleasant atmosphere. We will gladly return.

30/10/2025: An exceptional welcome, superb service from the owner, and sublime quality of food. If I'm ever in Paris, near the Gare de Lyon, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Mei Xi. All this at an affordable price. (I can't even suck in my stomach!)

13/01/2026: Chinese restaurant with a daily menu at a good price. We had the menu and everything was good, the service was fast and attentive, the dishes seemed a bit small, especially the main courses. Very nice and pleasant place, recommended.

09/08/2025: Was accommodated 15 mins near closing time and they were still so lovely to serve us for food. We were so tired from walking around the whole day as tourists and their hospitality was enough to make our stay memorable.

15/11/2025: What a gem! Honestly it was the most authentic and best Chinese food I ever had. Portions are huge, delicious and very inexpensive for Paris. I also believe is a family business, and the entire family might be working in the restaurant, which makes it even more special. Can't recommend this enough!

11/11/2025: The taste of home! The double-flavor fish rice is so delicious and goes perfectly with rice. It's so satisfying for Chinese palates, I highly recommend it!

31/12/2025: The food is very good and cheap. If you're staying at Hostel Generator, it's a must-try. The staff is super friendly, and the lunch menu for 9.50 with this quality is unmatched in Paris.

22/01/2025: Restaurant certainly accustomed to its success and which does not need new customers. Being a restaurateur myself, I find the casual attitude of the young man who “welcomed” my son and me bordering on disrespect. It’s 1:30 p.m., the restaurant closes an hour later so apparently the rush is over, no one is waiting. I ask for a table for two: the tone of voice that answers me clearly does not really want to be customer satisfied. No table...before 15/20 minutes...so you have to wait...outside...so it's January 22 and it's cold in Paris. No offer to drink hot tea on the terrace, a broth, start lunch outside… I tell myself that I will wait in the café opposite: “and if I leave a name and we will come back in 15 minutes”. Well no, if there is someone before you I will place them... well do it gentlemen, stay in this nonchalant attitude, devoid of commercial sense. It’s great to see that some colleagues are not so afraid of the crisis that they can afford to lose customers on a Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. We will never cross Paris again to come and try this cuisine which looks delicious and will not fail to warn those who might be interested.

03/12/2025: One of the most incredible settings, sumptuous and rich in detail! A place imbued with soul and symbolism. At Vong, every corner tells a story, every detail carries meaning. The thousand-armed statue watches over the room and invites contemplation, a space of spirituality and serenity. ✨ Much more than just a setting: a total immersion. The Szechuan beef is perfectly spiced, fragrant, and robust, and the Cantonese rice, served in a hollowed-out pineapple half, is light and the perfect accompaniment! The service is lovely and very quick. I highly recommend it and I will be back!

04/02/2026: I've had the most authentic Chongqing cuisine in Paris! The chef recently returned, and the food is absolutely delicious! I especially recommend their newest dish – "Knife-a-Duck"! One dish lets you sample all sorts of dry pot dishes: duck necks, duck wings, chicken feet, spare ribs, and even the unassuming fried sweet potato fries at the bottom of the pot are sweet, fragrant, and flavorful – a delightful surprise!

04/02/2026: This isn't my first time at this restaurant; I even sang karaoke here a long time ago. (Yes, they have three private karaoke rooms.) This time, I ordered braised duck, boiled fish, Kung Pao shrimp, garlic water spinach, pickled pepper chicken giblets, and pork intestines. This dining experience can be summed up as, "Dao Restaurant in District 13 gave me a fantastic meal again! It was so delicious!"
