15/11/2025: Incredible! A true chef in an authentic setting (the Ascain pelota court). We tried the menu twice, and both times, all we could do was offer our congratulations and express our satisfaction to the chef. Don't hesitate, go and meet him; with his talent, you'll meet a real character. Thank you for your warm welcome and the attention you gave us.

13/02/2026: A hidden gem in Ascain! This little bar-restaurant is simply perfect. You can feel the genuine passion, from the appetizers to the cheese course, with top-quality Basque regional products. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. Special mention goes to the owner: dedicated, friendly, and attentive. An authentic place just the way we like them, I highly recommend it!
13/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance one evening while passing through Ascain.
Honestly, you have to go! We had a very good meal with excellent cuisine made from fresh ingredients. The service was friendly.

22/02/2026: A great time spent with the group, nothing to complain about, highly recommended. Lots of locals in the room.
15/02/2026: Very disappointed compared to a year ago.
We ordered appetizers that were basically mass-produced, just foam and the flavoring of the ingredient inside :-|
As for the two set menus we chose, well… My advice: if you're a couple, just order one and share!
Regarding the ribeye steak, we only got one for the two of us. When we asked about the rest of our meal, they told us it was one for two. I left still hungry despite having the appetizers before the main course 😮😮😮
Sure, we eat well by today's standards, but that's no excuse!
