02/08/2026: A restaurant where takeout is so prevalent that they can't take orders for dine-in customers. So much so that the waitress refused to take our order, and we waited an hour to be served. We wanted pizzas but had to order salads (which were quite good) to avoid the extra wait. No apology was offered when we paid. What a shame, we won't be back.

28/07/2026: The pizza was absolutely delicious, even though I often leave the crust on, I have no complaints. The small Basque cake ice cream was also very good, and the staff were fantastic.

18/07/2026: We were passing through for the Bayonne festivities. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was very nice. We ate well. The service was very friendly, with the owner offering us a round of drinks at the end of our meal ☺️

24/07/2026: Every year we take advantage of a stay in the Landes region to visit the Aldudes Valley and stock up on the delicious cured meats of Pierre Orteiza. Here, the animals live a good life in beautiful natural surroundings, fed by what nature provides. This is reflected in the quality of the charcuterie that we are delighted to bring back.

25/07/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, but what a surprise! My fish, a whole sea bass, was simply excellent, accompanied by mouthwatering seasonal vegetables! A true culinary orgasm. My nephew had the burger and he was also thrilled. He, who doesn't necessarily like cheese and salad, absolutely loved it. My aunt and sister ordered mussels with chorizo ​​and they enjoyed it too! I highly recommend it and I know where to eat next time I'm in Bayonne, and I've tried quite a few little restaurants in Bayonne! A pleasant surprise, a fantastic team, refined dishes served quickly. My only complaint was that the fries I grabbed while enjoying the mussels were, of course, a bit too crispy, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

14/07/2026: One of the only restaurants open two days before the Bayonne Festival. A pleasant surprise, everything was delicious, and the waitress and owner were very friendly. Reasonable prices. A great place to eat!

15/07/2026: We were a group of 26 people. We were not allowed to sit with our partners. Everyone who ate fish sat at the same table, those who ate meat sat at a different table. Because the dishes had to be shared. A strange way of receiving guests. The food was tasty, though. The service was quick.

14/07/2026: Everything was great: good service, good food, and a cozy atmosphere. My only complaint is that during the summer months, they could use some fans inside. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

03/08/2026: Excellent restaurant that I highly recommend! We had lunch there as a family and had a very pleasant time. The welcome was particularly warm and attentive. We enjoyed a delicious Landes salad as well as a succulent regional dish of Basque black pudding and confit sausage, perfectly cooked and very generous. To finish, the ice cream for dessert was excellent. From the welcome to the food, everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!

29/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant during a previous stay in Pau three years ago. We were happy to stop by again on a Saturday at lunchtime. Prices have increased considerably in three years, but so has everything else (thanks to inflation!). We had the set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €22. Individual dishes are around €20 (€19 for a homemade burger and fries). The children's menu is €12 and includes crispy chicken and fries, and a scoop of ice cream or panna cotta. The servers were pleasant, although the service seemed a little slow. However, the quality of the food is still excellent; the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. We had a lovely time.

25/07/2026: I am almost glad we did not find this spot before our last evening. If not we’d be drinking wine here every day - and too much of it. Awesome place. Went for a glass before dinner and came back after dinner for a bottle to finish our holidays. This is the best wines in town some locals sharing our table told us - and we agree!
