04/01/2026: A superb experience at lunchtime today in this restaurant, the food was outstanding! Absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, with a very pleasant waitress! The only downside was the heating: a bit inadequate!
03/01/2026: The waitresses were fantastic! The meal was very good (the ribs were a little fatty), but otherwise I highly recommend it!

07/01/2026: A small restaurant in a shopping center. Despite the location not being particularly glamorous, the owners have managed to give it a certain charm. The restaurant was listed as full, but no problem, two tables were quickly found, which is a big plus (where there's a will, there's a way). We had a good meal. The food seemed homemade. The service was pleasant. A place to remember when hunger strikes on the road. Be warned, though, this restaurant is very often full, so it's best to make a reservation.

07/12/2025: A real treat from start to finish! Lasagna, pizza, and salmon ravioli: everything was perfect. Impeccable service and a lovely box of chocolates as a welcome gift. Thank you for this thoughtful touch; we will gladly return!

The welcome is very warm.
The pizzas are excellent and generously sized.
The staff is very pleasant.
The owner is a true pizzaiolo.
We go back regularly.
Since my last review, we've been back several times, and the welcome is always warm and friendly.
The dishes are even better and always generous. The pizzas are excellent, well-topped, and very appetizing.
The owner and his team are lovely, attentive, and welcoming.
We continue to go there regularly with pleasure.

24/01/2026: We stopped by completely by chance for breakfast and received a very warm welcome with a smile and perfect service.
Breakfast is €5 (hot drink, fruit juice, and a pastry), which is frankly unbeatable.
The dining area and restrooms are very clean, and the decor is great in a seventies style.
27/12/2025: A bit pricey for what we ordered!
It was a self-service restaurant with four choices of starters: pâté, grated carrots, salad, or ham.
We ordered one andouillette sausage with pepper sauce (store-bought) and fries, plus a small bottle of water = over €50 🫤

20/12/2025: Well, here's a friendly, unpretentious establishment. The food is good and plentiful, even for someone with a hearty appetite.
The service is warm, respectful, and efficient.
The prices are very reasonable.
Any downsides? I couldn't find any.
A slight drawback? It's right outside the train station.

Fries were really good
27/10/2025: Lunch as a couple on our way back from Rennes. We received a very warm welcome, even though we didn't book. On Mondays, be sure to book. We ate very well; the meat was high-quality and perfectly cooked. The homemade fries were delicious, and the desserts were delicious. Good value for money, a great place to eat.

11/12/2025: Average quality meat, lots of sinew that was difficult to cut.
Paid with restaurant vouchers, but:
- balance too low to pay by card, - impossible to withdraw cash "because the restaurant is closing."
No solution for paying €3; we even offered a tip to round it up to €5, which was refused.
After wasting 10 minutes (which would have allowed us to withdraw cash), we finally managed to leave after finally paying by card.
If you have time to waste, this is the place to go.
09/11/2025: The waiter was very welcoming yet discreet, the food was excellent, and the ingredients were high quality. The only problem: they don't accept restaurant vouchers as indicated at the entrance and on the menu (it's crossed out only at the till, which is a shame). They do accept holiday vouchers and restaurant cards. You can go there without hesitation.

06/11/2025: Disappointed with this Michelin-starred restaurant. The €45 set menu didn't live up to the price. The food was good, but nothing special!
The waitress never checked the tables to see if anything was missing.
The dining room was welcoming and nicely decorated.
Really disappointed ☹️

25/01/2026: A fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was well-prepared, delicious, and high-quality. The all-you-can-eat buffet offered plenty of choice to satisfy everyone. The staff was very polite, welcoming, and attentive, always available to check if everything was alright. The setting was pleasant and made for a very enjoyable time. It was truly excellent; I highly recommend it!
25/01/2026: The meal was delicious, with a lovely variety of flavorful and beautifully presented dishes, very generous portions, and truly fragrant. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, ideal for a dinner with family or friends.
The service was impeccable: the staff were smiling, attentive, and very professional. We felt truly welcome. All this at an excellent price.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Verneuil-sur-Avre.

€6.50 for breakfast, a great deal.
The restaurant was also perfect, fantastic to be able to walk there.
A good little place for people like us who are just passing through.

The secure parking at night was very reassuring.

27/11/2025: Not being from Verneuil, the reception was appalling this morning when I walked in. The woman stared at me, and when I tried to pay contactless, I said goodbye.
She retorted, "You have to wait until it's over before you leave," in a tone as if I were a thief! Of course, my card went through.
I said goodbye again, and there was no response.
In short, it was my first and last time at this bakery. The worst reception of my life for buying croissants.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The welcome and customer service are TERRIBLE.
(I didn't even try the croissants.)

On the other hand, last night at the drive-thru, I have to keep the lady there; she made my evening! Very efficient, she offered me desserts and coffee. A very good saleswoman with a sense of humor.
10/07/2025: I ordered a click and collect order, I asked for a smart + menu and a best of 9 nuggets menu, I paid for 9 there were only 7. The ordering problems are too regular it's becoming annoying.

19/09/2024: 09/19/24 12:25 p.m. riot at the McDonald's in Verneuil sur Avre. 4 terminals in service! The customers wait but 10 young students walk past. A heated altercation occurs. No McDonald's staff intervenes. The manager is wanted... he hides
Catastrophic management by the manager or manager who refuses to show up.

12/10/2025: Mediocre, it took over 15 minutes for us to come and take our order, once the order was placed and the drinks brought out, they rushed over to us to pay, and then... surprise! 4.80 for a Coke, almost as much for a 25cl draft, Parisian prices with lousy service, a server who looked at each of his customers strangely...
Run away!
12/09/2025: Very disappointed, the waitress was too noisy and kept talking. The waiter slammed the glasses to be put away even when passing by customers. The croque monsieur was undercooked and overpriced, or the customers' faces were disgusting!! We won't be going back.
