26/02/2026: We had lunch at Les Bonnets Rouges today and it was an extremely pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, my husband and I felt warmly welcomed and at ease. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The decor and ambiance were perfect. The food was delicious and the coffee excellent. As mentioned in other reviews, the restrooms are definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

06/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at the Dragon d'Asie restaurant, where we had booked for 4 people at 7:30 pm. We found the service to be impeccable, and the waitress was very friendly and smiling. The food was excellent, full of flavors and tastes. The value for money for the €25 menu was perfect, so we will definitely return for dinner when we are back in Carhaix. 03/02/2026: Good evening everyone, I arrived a little late, around 8:30 pm, and was greeted with a smile. It was indeed possible to have dinner. I chose the €22 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) and discovered a generous portion of food. The salad was perfect, as were the main course and dessert. So don't hesitate, go for it!

From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was perfect: the staff were friendly, attentive, and very professional, immediately putting us at ease. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, ideal for a relaxing time.
As for the food, it was a real treat! The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Every bite made me want to come back for more 😋
A truly wonderful experience; I highly recommend it.

The restaurant overlooks a river and a small wooden bridge.
The starter was a casserole of scallops and pink shrimp, followed by a plate of chicken, French fries, and mixed vegetables, and finally a caramelized tuile with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, red berries, and whipped cream. A real treat! 🤤

It's a shame the square is so dreary and dangerous with all its sloping surfaces and concrete. The lack of greenery is very, very sad.

17/03/2026: I've been to McDonald's in France, and the one in Carhaix is a disaster. It's dirty, I've seen rotten salad in the sandwiches, the sandwiches weren't fresh, I've been sick several times, and once I ordered a Coke and they brought me a strawberry Vittel 🍓 because they were out of it, not even a refund. In short, for the same price, go to a restaurant where they make real homemade burgers and support small businesses.

An extremely cordial welcome, the boss is very pleasant and friendly
And above all a very good meal, delicious pancakes, slightly crispy as I love them as a Breton, and with real local products highlighted with real talent.
I highly recommend this address without any restrictions.
Go for it without hesitation
07/09/2024: I discovered this place thanks to my partner and I don't regret it. The vast majority of products are homemade, the manager is a very pleasant man who does not lack humor and the quality of the cuisine is largely there. I have rarely eaten so well in such a beautiful setting. Honorable mention to the Ty Gwechall pancake which is one of the best desserts I have eaten to date and the cider on tap was really good. If you go through Carhaix, call to book, it's well worth it. This establishment gives pride of place to Breton culture.
