26/05/2026: I went there with my partner on Sunday evening when we were passing through Quimper! The owner, who is also the bartender, gave us a fantastic welcome! He was kind, warm, and had great values! We also had a lovely chat with some regulars, Fanfan and Cloclo, who were so welcoming and made us feel right at home! There was also a regular who picked up a guitar and a microphone and sang us a few songs. He has a superb voice; I hope he has a career in music! Thank you all for this wonderful time!

09/09/2026: Located very close to the train station, this pizzeria doesn't look like much from the outside, as the restaurant is upstairs. But it's a very pleasant surprise: pizzas so generous they practically hide the plate, quality ingredients, and a family tradition that continues to this day—the owner told me he's the grandson of the founder. Very reasonable prices. In short... 5 stars 🌟

27/09/2026: It's tricky to find a highly rated restaurant in Quimper on a Sunday at lunchtime when you haven't made a reservation ;) So we stumbled upon Asia quite by chance. But what a pleasant surprise! The decor is elegant – we would have loved to sit on the terrace, but the weather didn't cooperate. The service was very attentive. As for the food, absolutely delicious (and we've lived in Asia). It's fresh, flavorful, and generous. I particularly recommend the Japanese Flavor dessert with its wasabi ice cream – a real discovery. Note: We ordered an aperitif, a starter, a main course, a dessert, coffee, wine, and water, hence the price quoted.

25/07/2026: Without hesitation, I highly recommend it. The waitresses were efficient and friendly. The daily special, excellent pollack, served with vegetables and rice, was delicious.

13/07/2026: It's been a while since I shared my opinion, but now... I think L'îlot Saveur is in the top 3 of train station bistros in France. Very good burger, I had one. But I finished my partner's Pad Thai, a real treat, a delight. PERFECT. YUM-YUM. Don't hesitate, more...

24/09/2026: Warm welcome, lovely cozy place, the dishes are beautiful, refined, fresh and delicious. I will be back.

10/09/2026: Second time at this restaurant since the change of ownership. This time there were two of us on our lunch break. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating on the sunny terrace. Perfect for enjoying an excellent grilled octopus with a quarter-liter of wine. Served quickly and with a smile. The octopus was fantastic; it had been a long time since I'd had it, and I loved it with the fragrant rice. 👍 My friend raved about her butcher's cut with fresh fries. A very good apple clafoutis (homemade, please!) with a scoop of ice cream and salted caramel sauce, which we shared. Time for coffee and back to work. We'll be back.

15/10/2026: I ordered the galette with goat cheese, honey, and bacon. While the galette itself was very good, in my opinion, it was very sparsely filled. A shame. And the butter and sugar crepe... I couldn't taste the sugar. Disappointed. As for the cider, I wasn't asked if I wanted it sweet or dry, but anyway... it was good, which is the main thing. And it wasn't crowded at all. The location is nice, and the servers are too.

04/09/2026: Passing through the region and staying at the hotel opposite, we went there without knowing about it and it was an excellent surprise: lovely managers, excellent menu from start to finish, it is an establishment to highly recommend.

12/09/2026: We went there after a funeral, and the welcome was very warm. The post-funeral meal was rather ordinary, as the charcuterie was industrial and not artisanal, but the cakes for dessert were nice.
