30/08/2026: I have eaten in many creperies since moving to France, but this one was the best by a long stretch- so delicious and the dessert crepes were awesome.
21/08/2026: It's a shame the star rating only goes up to 5; we would have given it 6. Delicious crepes, efficient and friendly waiter. A very enjoyable time at this creperie!

12/08/2026: I discovered southern Finistère 15 years ago while visiting my in-laws. I fell in love with it and go back whenever I can. In those 15 years, my wife and I have discovered many excellent crêperies.
"Chez Mamie" is a little gem we wish we had discovered sooner.
The savory buckwheat crêpes are excellent, crispy, just the way we like them. And the sweet crêpes are equally delicious. Special mention for the homemade frangipane. A must-try! Remember to book.
11/08/2026: A lovely restaurant just steps from the train station, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. The menu features 100% local fare, including freshly made buckwheat and wheat crêpes, topped with everything! A special mention goes to the "Complètement" crêpe! It's a shame we didn't get to try the dessert menu, but the homemade lace crêpe served with our coffee was a real treat. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Quimper. Thanks to the whole team!

25/08/2026: We visited on a weekday evening in August. We had a very pleasant time at this crêperie, which was quiet and had easy (free) parking. The service was impeccable and exceptionally friendly. The crêpes and galettes were generously filled and absolutely delicious – true culinary expertise!
This place is definitely worth a visit.
Thank you again, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

18/08/2026: I was looking for a restaurant with an app that counts calories in photos. This time I found this place thanks to it. The basil pizza was good and packed with protein for my day. The service was quick.
17/08/2026: A Quimper institution! Lots of character, not too fancy. Simply a place where you feel at home.
Around a dozen beers on tap. Lunch (Monday-Friday) is very good, varied, plentiful, and, considering the quality, surprisingly affordable.
Update 2026: It's even better now! ;-)

The sardines were flavorful and fresh, accompanied by a well-seasoned salad that added a lovely touch of freshness. A real treat from start to finish. A warm welcome and impeccable service. The waitresses were efficient and friendly.
The daily special, excellent pollack, served with vegetables and rice, was delicious.

I think L'îlot Saveur is in the top 3 of train station bistros in France. Very good burger, I had one.
But I finished my partner's Pad Thai, a real treat, a delight. PERFECT.

21/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Just steps from the town center and its tourist-packed restaurants, we stumbled upon a family-run crêperie where time seemed to stand still. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we enjoyed delicious traditional Breton crêpes with buttermilk. An authentic crêperie that we'll remember fondly.

The place is simple and authentic, without the pretension you find elsewhere.
The people who run this crêperie know their craft.
Prices are very reasonable.
