31/03/2024: We had a great time! And tasted good food. Warm environment. Only small downside: service a little quick, we started our aperitif as soon as the dishes arrived....but we still recommend it and will be happy to come back!

Fair price, proportional to the quantity of food offered.
It's a shame to reheat the pasta in the microwave because it cools quite quickly, suggestion to replace it with fries to accompany the mountain escalope (more flavorful and mountain effect).
However, excellent dessert (blueberry crumble) and wide choice available!!

Very nice home.
Impeccable room, with wifi, TV and a magnificent view.
Free parking.
You can eat there: very good and plentiful and eat local.
Breakfast at 8 E: very generous.
The ladies are charming.
Room for three with shared toilet (very clean): E50 per night.
We booked on Booking more than two months ago because the hotel was quickly booked.
I recommend, 5 ⭐ deserved.

28/10/2023: Magnificent view of the lake, delicious food, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. In short, one of the best restaurants we have been to. (Visited in early September)
24/10/2023: We wanted to have lunch in this restaurant which seemed to have a good reputation. So we tried to call 3 times to reserve a table…no answer. We left a voicemail, no return. When in doubt, we still went there...the restaurant was closed even though the Google page indicated that it was open.
Neither poster nor anything on the front to warn that the restaurant was closed (annual closure, exceptional closure? No idea)

Refined and mastered cuisine with a chef who takes the time to chat with his customers and even give cooking advice.
The service is impeccable and the place magnificent.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
28/10/2023: 5/5 and they deserve even more! A restaurant that is worth the detour, a most professional and warm welcome, a couple of restaurateurs (Mr in the kitchen and Madam in the service), the cook greets us on arrival and departure, the sense of a job well done and the sense of care of its guests. Not to mention the taste surprises, a delight. Excellent value.
I have great memories of it and I recommend +++

06/10/2023: Very disapointed. From all reception, waiting 1/4 hour while waiting for someone to decide to go out who doesn't know where. Borderline politeness The young lady preferred to serve the gentleman who arrived after me.... the presentation of my plate (fried grilled ham plus sauce) like in the canteen. Cold sauce...well-sweat reheated in the microwave. The outfit of the staff is sad to die for and frankly jeans with holes at the knee, not classy at all. OK I arrived early. 12:15 p.m. I was the 3rd person. Frankly, we are better served at flunch. I won't come back again.
25/09/2023: This restaurant is no longer a Courtepaille, the food is basic, the service is deplorable (the waiter comes back 3 times to put the wine and 2 glasses on the table) you have to ask for the bread and mustard.
The entrecote beef arrives in piles when we explain this to the manager that it harms his image he explains to us that it is us who are demanding

We met a Dutch couple on the terrace, former owners of the campsite in Entrevaux.

05/04/2024: Very nice surprise in this pleasant little village. Magnificent view, very pleasant setting on the terrace, and on the plate a delight of flavors such as are rarely found (except coffee) for a very attractive price. I highly recommend.
01/04/2024: Terrible service. The looks shared between dismayed customers say it all. If you really want to enjoy the view, have a coffee and enjoy it for a long time at your table without consuming anything else, they will have a reason to be sad 😁
